I grew up loving their songs. Their voices are as smooth as velvet and their songs were all love songs. -
To my knowledge, The Lettermen's "Greatest Hit" was probably their medley "Going Out of My Head / You're Just Too Good to be True," that was released in early 1968.
Told you "This'll REALLY" Date Me, didn't I????

I like them and i'm only 16, but I also have very good music taste and do not listen to what most teens do.
-
ktn, there is a fairly new gospel trio called "Three Bridges" that would get my vote.
I have always liked the Lettermen. -
I thought 'Sealed with a Kiss' was made Top Ten by Gary Lewis and the Playboys?
That would also probably be a 'Association' sounding group...
How about 'Love Song'?
Why? Who did you have in mind? -
I'm not really "into" SGM (not that I'm necessarily against it--I do like a very few songs in that genre). Don Moen's "God Will Make a Way" would probably be a good example of the style of music that I prefer.
With that in mind, I again submit my question: "What Christian group (trio/quartet) would you say most closely mirrors the STYLE and harmony of the group 'The Lettermen'?" -
I agree about 'God Will Make A Way', though that, to me, is Worship Music not CCM...
In that genre I also like 'Heal Me O Lord', and from Shalom Jerusalem, 'In Your Presence'...
Of course to clear the foyer and get church started I like stuff like 'Stand Up and Give Him the Praise', also on Shalom Jerusalem...
That's genre I define as prelimienary Praise...
