I posted this under books and here as it deals with Baptist history.
For folks on the BB who are interested in history and especially Baptist history you might want to watch for the following book. It is to be published sometime in 2017 by Pickwick Publications.
To Follow the Lambe Wheresoever He Goeth:
The Ecclesial Polity of the English
Calvinistic Baptists 1640–1660

I am one of those few people who like indexing ... been freelance indexing over 30 years. I have a 2000+ page medical book coming in February or March. I am doing this for Ian more as a favor. Theology is not my field of expertise, but this being historical it isn't that hard to compile the index.
As long as I can have :Coffee in my mug I'm all right.
Do you know Ian? I know the assistant principal well and consider her a good friend. She was a lecturer at IBTS in Prague and earned her PhD there. She is brilliant. Her PhD thesis was on the problems single women have in churches, especially in Lithuania, her home country. It has been published as a book and is entitled: Involuntarily Free Or Voluntarily Bound: Singleness in the Baptistic Churches of Post-communist Europe -
No, I don't know Ian Birch. I've only seen the name in connection with the Scottish Bible College and put the two together.
I've indexed a couple of my books and didn't find it particularly pleasant. Since you do that freelance, I suppose you might have a program that you use for the purpose?
