They charge our soldiers with violation of Articles of War, the Geneva Convention,
and all that stuff.
Question 1: What violations of what treaty will they charge Al-Qaeda with seeing as Al-Qaeda and like organizations are, well, organizations, and not armies of countries ?
So in like manner, Question 2 is : on what basis are they to be treated as Prisoners of War and subject to Conventions' agreements, and so on, when they have no country that have declared war on us and on whom we have declared war ?
Now, before the libs on the board howl and point their fingers at me and accuse me of wanting to torture these enemies, try to answer the questions first.
Shouldn't sign international treaties if you aren't willing to stick to your obligations under them.
It isn't about whether Al Qeada will be charged for anything, it's about whether or not we as American's view torture as a ligitimate military/crime "fighting" tool.
So in like manner,
It isn't about what others do or may do , it's about whether or not we as American's view torture as a ligitimate miltary/crime "fighting" tool.
Try to ask questions that cover the real issue. Like do you want America to be seen in the same light as other nations that use, have used torture and secret prisons? I thought "we" were the good guys that led the fight against all that stuff.
Not only do "we" torture, "we" also kidnapp and send people to secret prisons that use torture, and we have used death squads in the past too.
False flag terrorism? A favorite CIA pastime! (Iran '53, Guatemala '58, Colombia, Panama...etc.) It's all admitted, now. You can go on denying it but at this point you'd only be fooling yourself.
Ken isn't a liberal. He was almost a neocon till he "got mugged by reality".
Don't confuse basic political philosophy with my mistaken support for politicians in the past couple of elections such as George W. Bush.
I just wish I had been as well read before.
If I had been, I would have never supported George W. Bush, or Mitt Romney(for a while), or anyone of these other Establishment people or the invasion of Iraq.
Listening to Limbaugh and Hannity during the past couple of years has shown me just what kind of people they are, and I have no desire to be in league with them.
Basically Hannity, Limbaugh and the rest of the "conservative" media are just corporate shills (Murdoch even publically admitted to spreading propaganda for the neocons). But then so are those in the so called corporate "liberal" media.
What do they both have in common? They are all employed by the same ridiculously conglomerated maistream corporate media.
It's all about money and power, poncho.
Limbaugh, Hannity and their counterparts on the left in the media and, of course,
most politicians don't care what the citizens of this country want.
We call our country a constitutional republic(at least in name) and look at how the will of the people is ignored by the powers that be.
I'd hate to see what our country looked like under a dictatorship.
Well Ken, it only makes sense that the same transnational corporations that own and control our government would have a huge propaganda arm in the form of the MSM to hide their true goals and condition the population into accepting the remedies to the calamities they have intentionally caused themselves. It's called "problem reaction solution".
That's because the PTB have a definate agenda they're trying to carry out, namely bringing the USA down to a level where it can be merged with the global government. To a level where the people will not only agree with it but support it without questioning. As far as a North American dictatorship goes...we have no habeas corpus and fourth amendment rights any longer and the elites control one of the biggest high tech militarized police states ever. The infrastructure for a good ole fashsion dictatorship is already built and just waiting for the right "trigger" to make it "go off".
OK if the conservative voice, and it is huge, is silenced, who will speak to America for those values?
NPR, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, The Democrat party, the GOP?
no. There will be no voice left to stay the religious, leftist, establishment bent on the socialization and powering down of America.
Oh yeah, the internet with all its freedoms of expression is in their cross hairs also.
There are numerous bills in the pipeline and many more coming,
attacking conservatism.
But America will fall, it's just a matter of when.
Too bad we can't confront this evil on a battle field with no holds barred, but satan isn't working that way.
If the American people don't stop watching "American Idol" long enough to start supporting people like Ron Paul who tell the truth, I am afraid you may be correct in your assessment.
The conservative voice has long ago been co opted by the globalists as has the liberal voice. What we're seeing isn't a fight between the right and the left, it's more like one controlling group, globalists, internationalists, transnationalists, one worlders, international community or the NWO whatever you choose to call them are playing one side against the other to arrive at
a "consensus" in this case a one world government.
They use the lefties to condition the minds of Americans into accepting part of their agenda and they use the righties to condition the minds of Americans into accepting the other part of their agenda, they own the MSM, it's their propaganda machine. There is only but one agenda, a one world government based on communism and or feudalism.
America doesn't have to fall if we all just wake up to a few simple facts and do something about it. Now.
