Just you--I don't want Trump to be nominated but he apparently objects to the biased questions from Kelly, who is moderate.
The RNC should have asked to have her removed after the first round with her.
Why isn't Fox using Lou Dobbs, for example?
Well, I am not going to answer the question about softball questions because it is a bad question.
Nor am I going to answer the question about Trump's motives because it is a bad question.
Most celebrities support those charities (not that some are not worthy to be supported) because they need a tax dump.
Question.
Would trump give without regard to having control over the money to the mission work of the SBC, to TEAM, to BMI, to ABWE?
Would trump give without regard to having control over the money to ANY church related effort that seeks to witness about Christ to all the world as the typical believer does?
Sure, trump gives to those charities. As long as he can get some return to his benefit.
That is what he does.
That is why he has a long history of buying influence in members of congress.
He even boasts about all the candidates that of the current group, and both Sanders and Clinton that he has given large sums to gain influence.
As I recall (which may be inaccurate) there is only ONE candidate that has not been given money of all that are running - Rand Paul.
Right, I don't want Trump to win the nomination but he is right about some things.
I don't think skipping a debate or all of the rest of the debates will hurt Trump politically.
Trump is saying that he did not like the way Fox was treating him and he did not like the way that Kelly treated him with her personal attack when she could not explain the gross things that she said on Stern.
One would think that some of the other candidates would say something on Trump's behalf.
Trump's principal flaw is his ownership of casinos.
He should have run as a Democrat.
Gone are the days of Jennings and Brokaw when they understood that journalists are to report the news, and not try to BE the news.
With a few exceptions, the
networks are now filled with commentators who are many times much more interested in "creating" a headline by asking "fascinating" but irrelevant questions to the lives and well being of the American families.
If a question can't be asked in the same way or nearly the same way of every candidate, it's probably because it has nothing to do with anything substantive to the lives of everybody else.
If they would find a way to frame the questions so that they are asking of him the same things they are asking of others, instead of it coming across as an attack, then all would be well.
For example, they could ask something like: As a conservative, do you believe in the sanctity of marriage and that it should be until death do you part?
The problem is that the "debates" aren't debates but Q&As designed to get ratings.
Your playground, adolescent taunts will not work this time. He is not afraid of Kelly, but rather on to her hidden agenda of vengence. She has carried a torch since their first dust uo, and Trump is wise enough to see through her. She would like nothing better than to play "gothca" to be up on Trump after this laxt debate. I've seen he practically drooling when ask about the debate asn a chance to have one more sit down go around with a man she loathes.
She has been gitty and gloating ever since she heard she drove Trump, I believe in my heart that Trump has made a wise choice. And many think so
Unfortunately the Trump supporters are starting to remind me of those clips of Obama supporters who were talking about getting "free money" while buying into everything he said at face value.
Maybe he can get Mexico to pay for a wall to keep Megan out of the debate hall? If I considered myself a legitimate news agency rather than the political pawn of folks with money, there is no way I would allow an on-air personality to BE the news. They could have easily gotten someone who didn't seem to have such a past with him to help moderate the debate.
Trump merely invented the Ad hominem against Kelly because he didn't like be called out with an honest question that was potentially damaging to his character. As well as he invented this "past" because Kelly dropped the issue and did not trade insults with the man, but Trump, like a juvenile bully kept them coming...now he wants to use his invented bias to whine and some sort of entitlement to pick his own debate moderators. Yeah, "he's wise" alright....
