A poster who cannot file here on the Baptist only section asked about "types" of New Evangelicals. They noted there seemed to be
1. Liberal new evangelical
2. Ecumenical new evangelical
3. Conservative new evangelcal
Are there other categories and with which should a Fundamentalist have any fellowship?
Thanks

What is the current definition of "New Evangelicalism"?
I remember an individual named Harold Ockenga of Park Street Church in Boston in the 1960's received a lot of bad press from fundamentalists at the time for being an advocate of new evangelicalism.

I recommend Ernest Pickering's The Tragedy of Compromise on this topic. Just finished it myself, the book is a good treatment of the current situation.
