Derrick Gordon became the first openly gay player in Division I men's basketball on Wednesday.
In February NFL prospect Michael Sam announced he was openly gay.
All right, we understand. There are gay people in the world. Has been for oh, I don't know, quite some time now.
So all you closeted hockey, tennis, table tennis, baseball, softball, curling, soccer, handball, racquetball, NASCAR drivers, target archers, skeet shooters, volleyball, cricket, stickball, kickball, baseketball, wiffleball, road cycling, wrestling, jockey, sport fishing, disc golfing, Australian rules, rugby, lacrosse, squash, polo, hide-and-go seek, and kick the can players can just forget about holding a press conference and announcing you're gay and are coming out, BECAUSE WE DON'T CARE!!!

I simply don't care who people sleep with.
That said, I'll be waiting to hear about the forthcoming homosexual abstinence movement among the Christians who affirm this lifestyle. -
I find it interesting that we hear that they don't want to be judged for "who they are" but then they hold a press conference to make sure we know "who they are"? Interesting.
I think I need to hold a press conference to say that I'm a horse lover. ;) -

Homosexuality is far more than just who is sleeping with who. It is a political movement to force everyone to like and accept it.

I'm just waiting for some pro athlete to come out and say 'I am straight and happily faithful to my dear wife'

This could really begin to sound weird. -

I think this whole coming out is a good thing in some regards. It gives that person back a voice they thought they had lost. That lack of a voice often leads them to isolate themselves and consider suicide or other destructive behaviors.
I would venture that folks who have come out so publicly know better than most that their sexual acts are sinful. But getting back to a place where they aren't so alone or feel like killing themselves lets them be okay with their actions because they find family in their openness.
It's hard to point a person to Jesus Christ and repentance of this sin who is very hush hush about his feelings.
So Tom, Will, Richard, Harry and all the other closeted homosexuals need to come on out so that we can pray specifically that they be set free from this sin. -

And now we have the homosexual movement. Hm. -
