How are you spending this day? Did you buy your spouse flowers or something else? Taking her out to dinner? I am doing these things and its a good feeling to express love towards ones spouse as the Bible teaches in so many places including the song of songs. What of you?

Give the gift of ammunition. Nothing says 'I love you' like a box of 9mm.

...And I knew you would take me off of ignore to sneak a peek. -
Gave my wife $20 and said Big Lots or Dairy Queen? Since she's a Proverbs 31 woman we did pretty good at both. :tongue3:

I might get a rabbit for this but I bought my wife an electric can opener for Valentines day.
Nothing says "I love you" like an electric can opener.

Proverbs 31:10-11 KJV
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
Proverbs 31:28-30 KJV
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
Ephesians 5:25; 28KJV
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
1 Peter 3:7 KJV
7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. -

Food shopping, gift shopping, birthday party, battling the crowds in Costco, a little more food shopping (first store didn't have sweet and sour red cabbage which is vital to the sauerbraten tomorrow night), then home to make dinner, do laundry and then do some computer work.
Hubby worked on his message for tomorrow (this week was busy and he ran short on time to finish his message), did some computer work, had dinner and booked a trip to Florida for himself.
So it was a very romantic day. LOL Ahhh - the life of an old married couple. We DID have a nice dinner out last night and I got chateaubriand! -

The restaurants were so packed we ended up at Bob Evans. It was good to just sit down with her and have a meal.

We love each other. We help and support each other every day. That is enough. Plus I can buy myself flowers and chocolate tomorrow at a good discount if I want some. And of course, I always want chocolate, no matter what day it is!
I suppose it is a fun, nice holiday for some and that is cool, but like other holidays, it is more pleasurable for me to watch others enjoy it than bother participating. So keep it up! I love the clearance sales after holidays, so our family benefits when you celebrate. :-D
Now my birthday - everyone better show da love. Mhm! -
No worries, though. Now that I know as fact that Evan takes me off of ignore to peek at my posts, I am confident that more are on the way.
