Obama is currently polling ahead of Romney, but gas prices expected to go up may hurt that. Obama could bomb Iran, and this could give him a boost, but this may cause fueld prices to jump even more. He's sort of caught in a catch 22 here. With all of this, his best hope is the Iran situation fixes itself(probably won't) or unemployment drops down to the 7s. If unemployment falls to 7.5% by November he'll be tough to beat. That 7.5% may not tell the whole story, but this is all the average voter sees.
