We now have an extraordinary situation that reveals the impunity with which political elites commit the most egregious crimes, as well as the special privileges to which they explicitly believe they — and they alone — are entitled. That a large bipartisan cast of Washington officials got caught being paid substantial sums of money by an Iranian dissident group that is legally designated by the U.S. Government as a Terrorist organization, and then meeting with and advocating on behalf of that Terrorist group, is very significant for several reasons. New developments over the last week make it all the more telling. Just behold the truly amazing set of facts that have arisen:
Yeah well what else is there when people can look straight at the evidence and deny it even exists? If that's not a form of insanity I don't what it is.
I just don't know how to reply to blind crazy people and their immature remarks.
I've long maintained that most folks here only care about the law when it can further their own agenda.
The silence here speaks volumes.
Almost eveywhere else people are becoming outraged with the lawlessness on the part of the government. But here? People don't even take notice. And if they do they act like clams. Or in the case of a select few who shall remain nameless . . . grade school idiots.
Since it is so evident to you that no one cares about your conspiracy theories here, why don't you go to "eveywhere else people are becoming outraged"?
One thing I have not been is silent.
I thought about your first sentence, and do not believe I have an agenda either.
It is impossible to count the number of board members I have been into it with over the character of Romney.
However, I do not think that is an agenda.
I admit I am to a degree obcessed with the character of the man, but it is based on what I believe.
Because one is for right to life, or traditional marriage is not an agenda, just how I feel about the situation, based on the Bible.
I also do not believe that me pointing out that Romney is a cult member makes me a religious bigot.
I have never criticized any faith within the Christian community, even Catholic.
We agree on many political points, as you can tell, I have no use for either party.
It is obvious that they do have an agenda, and their agenda is to increase their political power and tax dollars from the American people.
Our leaders have sold their souls to corporations, unions, lobbyists, and every other nut case cause that one can imagine.
I do not understand why we cannot get honorable leaders that want to serve the citizens, not special groups of people, rich, poor, green, pink, or whatever.
I do have one question for you.
Who was the last President you had any respect for?
It does not have to be in our life times.
That is an interesting take.
I certainly did admire Truman.
His VP is actually from here.
I remember studying in school Eisenhowers farewell speech where he talked about the military industrial complex.
You have given this a lot of thought.
My idea was the deterioration began for the Republicans about the time that Bush ran for President in 1988.
Ronald Reagan. I was then and still am one of those limited government people. His problem was having Bush as a VP. Ronald I believe wanted to do what was right and proper unfortunately even then it was the Bushmen and their neocon associates that called the shots on foreign policy.
Reagan is long gone but the Bushmen and their neocon associates are still making foreign policy. And that my friend is why I keep saying the left vs right paradigm is false.
The president is a cororate spokesman for those who profit from endless wars and monopoly business nothing more, nothing less. From Reagan to Romney the same people (corporate interests) make the policies that benefit only them.
Emigration Control Act of 1986 - gives the President the authority to deem whatever type of identification is necessary — whether it be an invisible tattoo or electronic media under the skin.
