Its nice to see some other preacher baptizing with a tie on... my former pastor teased me when he saw recent pics of me baptizing with my tie on.

Lord hates a proud look and sometimes we don't realize how others see things. I want to live as close to the Lord as I can and thanks for pointing it out to me. I truthfully was ignornant of the fact of how it looked. Sorry,

I posted a picture of me baptizing and I shouldn't have. I guess it looked as if I were boasting or something but I tried to fix it. I wish we could go back and remove whatever post we wanted to. I think that would be a good idea and when we cross someone's mind then we could just undo it. I thought everyone was joking and having fun but like you, I missed it too. Others have posted pictures of batizing and nothing was said so I thought it was ok but guess not.

Do you hold 'em under till they struggle? :saint: knew a preacher who did that. If they hadn't called on the name of Jesus before they went under, they sure had before they walked out of the water!

I must be missing something too, because I saw nothing wrong with your photo... I enjoy seeing the fruits of other's labor.. it is an encouragement.

Bro. Bob, my remark about the Bob's being called a 'pride' instead of a 'gaggle' was not directed toward you at all!!! A group of geese is called a gaggle. A group of lions is called a pride.

I was trying to be jovial, but certainly was not referring to your picture. Please put it back. It was refreshing!

I'm sorry if you took offense.

BTW, my pastor baptizes in his tie too!

No problem at all I am Blessed 16. I know what gaggle and pride mean. I already felt funny about having my picture up so I just took them all down. Forget it.

Well, I think we ALL should put up a picture! I don't have many (I don't upload pics to the computer - my DH does and then I have to get him to load them onto the server - so it takes time). But here's one of me in the spring riding my boy Whirl. OK - He's not really mine but a very good friend's but I ride him 2-3 days a week - and could ride 7 days if I could get there! I'm training him in dressage.
