You didn't put watch night service???
We'll be fellowshipping with a friend. He is having someone preach their first sermon so we're going to support. -
Ack. No, I didn't.
It has been so long since I have never been to one, I forgot.
I was always with the children, and we had a mission study and a wild confetti ridden fear factor riot of a night. -
Just check "having a party"
Church should be joyful -

Mega food/game/sports/fellowship night at church, until midnight for those of us who can stay awake! :wavey:

I'm going to a churrascaria restaurant with my wife and about a dozen of our friends. We'll feast on roasted meats for about three hours until the New Year arrives!
-
We will be staying home and watching a DVD of the movie Ratatouie.
We will be drinking egg nog and eating Christmas cookies and sandwiches.
We will be in bed way before midnight because we have to be up at 5:00a.m. to deliver the papers New Year's morning! -
-
We'll be having a little party at home with family. Our church has a little get together that starts at 7:30, then a service starting at 8:30 or so which is too late for us with young kids, and we hate to be the kind of people that just come for the food and leave when the preaching starts. :)

As an unbelieving friend of mine says, "New Years Eve partying is for the amateurs... the pro's do it all year long..."
I'll be in bed and when the fireworks go off in my neighborhood at midnight, I'll turn to my wife say "Happy New Year" and go back to sleep. -

Drove a cab on NYE, 13.5hrs, about 250miles, 50 fares, and now feel like I drove the cab.....under a truck

Happy New Year!

We went out for a late dinner because it was our Anniversary! :D

Pete wasn't the only one who had to work on New Year's Eve!!
Happy [belated] Anniversary, Bitsy! -
Your anniversary is on Dec. 31? That wasn't very tax advantageous, was it?
