Most of us have a hobby that we indulge in. Anyone care to share?
As for myself, in the warm months I garden. In the cold months I work with wood. I collect stamps, Swedish 18th century copper coins, bayonets and WW1 medals.

I enjoy gardening, too! I grow flowers, tho. There's not enough sun here for veggies. I also enjoy genealogy (just got into the DAR!), and collecting teapots and teacups.

Hobbies change according to location and physical limitation but my constant since childhood has been writing. I do it for pay but prefer writing just for fun. Time restraints and life make that rare but it's still my "thing." Photography is another joy. I don't do it for pay anymore but do grab the chance to do it just for fun when the opportunity presents itself. I'm one of those crazy people willing to look like a fool to get a shot. Love shooting the moon, birds, and random things like cool doors and windows.
But writing was, is, and will continue to be my first love. A picture shows a scene, but words bring images and emotions to life in ways unique to every reader. Poetry and flash fiction are my favorites to write. -
The picture above is one of my primary hobbies...
I am fabricating almost everything for this build. -
glfredrick, you definitely caught me by surprise on this one! Sounds like you have some vastly different interests, which is pretty cool.

Here are some of my other hobbies:
And the most important one!

I'm envious of that library. I can throw a dart, but all that means is that people better duck. LOL The third I recognize as I see it regularly in the teacher's lounge...the back of the security cameras/hookup stuff. The fourth pic I didn't recognize at first but now will be sure to say "hola!" to her if we chance to meet!

Most of you guys know my hobby - horses. I don't own any but I have a dear friend who has 2 and I've been riding her horses for 26 years! I also am her "right hand woman" with the care of them since she's also helping her daughter as she goes through a divorce. Like Friday, her daughter will be in court all day and so she'll be watching her 3 year old grandson and it's just too hard to do all of the barn chores with him running around. So I'll take care of everything for her. She knows if she can't get down there, most days I can. :) I love doing it so it's a non-issue for her to ask me.

Give me something to build, tear down, repair, paint, fix up, etc., and I'm in my hobby zone. Otherwise, I like to read, antagonize on the Baptist Board, ride mountain bikes, go for walks with my wife, and play with my son.
