Besides the Bible of course?
Being an avid fiction fan, I'm currently about half way through 'Solar Flare' by Larry Burkett. I'm also reading through 'A Cry In The Wilderness,' a collection of sermons and teachings by Keith Green.
So, what's on your nightstand?
God Bless!!!

No reading in the bedroom. I pop off in short order and a book would be a waste.
On the side, I am reading four books: Grasping God's Word, Duvall and Hays,,,a book on how to understand the Bible, and The Reader's Digest Bible. It is really a condensed version of the RSV, but very readable; no chapters or verses and one can read an entire book in one sitting.
I have been re-reading Edersheim's, The Life and Times of Jesus The Messiah, two volumes (1886).
Cheers,
Jim -

Keep "short" reading on the nightstand, since I hit the hay really tired.
Reader's Digest is indispensable.
I also enjoy having a copy of Max Lucado's book (have In the Grip of Grace presently) as it, too, is in short snippets and no long-term plot lines or deep theology.
Now someone needs to ask just about GENERAL reading as a topic. Then I'd share . .. -
Addictions: A Banquet in the Grave a biblical counseling book by Ed Welch

:D Hello, I have WAY to much JUNK on my night stand! But I am in the process of reading " The Power of A Praying Woman, by Stormie O'martian. Some ladies from our church get together for about an hour every Thursday afternoon and discuss it chapter by chapter. Excellent book ladies. All of her books are VERY good.
I also am doing a Beth Moore Bible Study, "Jesus The One and Only" I do that in there too. And for recreational reading a little Jannet Oak. Right now I am reading "Once Upon A Summer"
For now that is all I am reading.
