These fleshly bodies, that which God created are corrupted by sin. What do you mean that which God creates cannot be corrupted?
Satan took the music and corrupted it, making it appealing to the flesh. Music was not created for that purpose.
All things were created for God's praise, not flesh gratification. Satan used it to cause man to feel good about self, to take his eyes off of God.
What can wash away my sin?

yeess. we are corrupted by sin.
music is not corrupted by sin. can't be.
people use it to display a lifestyle of sin.
the music itself is not sin. -

hmm. thanks for pointing that out SFIC.
i wish to correct myself. or rather correct you.
do you not believe that one can change his opinion even just a little bit?
i have since been corrected. and corrected myself in the last previous posts in saying "you cannot label ANY kind of music corrupt. its not biblical to label something that God created as corrupt."
i have since corrected myself of that.
---
i will point out again that God created music. and clearly explain that one cannot call what God has created - sin.
you can call what satan has manipulated - sin.
yes satan has manipulated the minds of people to use ungodly lyrics(that's the manipulated part) with God given music.
satan has used God's music to put across an ungodly message.
---
i wish not to be double-minded. -
satan has used God's music to put across an ungodly message - much like satan used God's words to decieve Eve in the garden. no?

My, my, 17 pages of hockey-poo that have nothing to do with the OP (minus a few posts).

Amen to "bust a beat for Jesus"? -
Ok, then according to that line of thinking, when a rock and roller, or death metal artist plays just the music onstage without any lyrics, they are glorifying God? After all, according to you now, the music is not corrupt.
...Man, are you deceived. -
my last post on this thread...I've said my piece in other threads along this line.
I will address DITW one more time: I would like an apology for your accusing me of hating SFIC. SFIC and I have exchanged PM's on occasion, and I count him as a brother in Christ. We have no hatred for one another--even when we disagree on some issues.
Your false accusations such as this do not lend credibility to your viewpoint. Once again, I would appreciate an apology.
Should you not choose to give one, I do forgive you anyway. But please don't accuse other Christians falsely. -

It is a curious thing that it is some how "hateful" to call someone a pharisee, but it is not when calling them a liberal (like digging did a group of us) and accuse other Christians of drinking from the devil's cup (like SFIC did). This martyr complex has got to stop. I don't hate anyone on here, as I believe no one hates me (at least I don't think they do). If we are going to talk about statements and attitudes we will use adjectives. These allow us to express what we are seeing in others as they deal with their brothers and sisters in Christ. It is not a matter of hate. With that standard telling someone he is deceived because he doesn't agree with you is just as hateful as the rest. Let's be consistant here, and lets not fall into the trap of believing that when one opposes your point of view or your approach to your faith, that they hate you. Jesus did not accept the pharisees approach and call them hypocrites, but he still loved them.
