Can a single person answer my question of why you use the OT to claim homosexuals are an abomination to God but do not call for their execution? Same book, same passage. Does not consistency in hermeneutics mean anything?
We can't pat someone on the back and tell them that their gay lifestyle is okay. They are going against their nature(s) by being men with men, and women with women(Romans). They need to know that their lifestyle was of their own making and not God's. They chose to be gay, and until they come out of that wicked lifestyle, they are living the wrong lifestyle.
Done done it but hope the two will put a stop to this nonsense. Beyond that he is apparently gathering material from us bigoted Baptists for his dissertation.
The committing of homosexual acts as sin is reinforced in the NT.
Homosexual SEX is a sin.
Perhaps alvin wants to know why this particular sin is getting so much attention from the SBC while the greed and other sin within the church
and its members gets ignored?
Alvin, don't let the folks on here bully you. You're dealing with some folks with some very nasty personalities who believe that because they say do something that you should be compelled to do it.
You ask the questions that YOU want answered. It's YOUR dissertation. And if you don't want to answer theirs, it's okay.
How is it I have pastored for these many years, I am old now, I am been in our conventions, sat on our denominational meetings, broke bread, gave faithfully over all the years and now...If I raise a simple question of simple human decency I am a hertic. One question that dare to challenge the denominational standard...I am to be castigated. The SBC was never like that in years gone past. Now...everyone must be in lockstep on all issues. What did God give us a mind for? A heart for?
Zaac, you are one of the nastiest posters here, so you should know.
This is NOT a forum to troll for dishonest reasons.
You seem to take up for anyone that will rebel against God's word.
That is problematic.
