"Racially," I'm human.
Ethnically, I'm what is generally considered to be white.
The more racist family members of my parent's generation considered my brother and I to be "mixed race" since my father was American white (mutt) and my mother was Austrian (in appearance, whiter than most "white" Americans).
So I picked, "I am several strains of white."
Ethnic prejudice is stupid and immoral. -
I'm European American ;)

I'm 1/8 Armenian, 1/4 Puerto Rican, and 5/8 admixture of white.

I am several kinds of white, with some middle eastern

Hmmm... English, American Indian, Irish, German, French, Dutch... and that's only the ones I remember!
I am a true Heinz 57, and a proud American, at least fourth generation (with the latest ones that came across the pond). -
Scotch-Irish/English with a touch of Creole French and German.
My dad's side of the family has a shady past, so there's probably more than just Western European whiteness in there somewhere.
My last name is Scotch/English.
Soli Deo Gloria,

My race is human.
It's not mixed with anything else. -
Like many of you, I am mostly English, but with Welsh, Scots, Irish, German, and probably Dutch. Maybe native American, although the record gets murky about that. I have undertaken to do some family history study in my retirement, and find it a lot of fun.
But I also affirm all of us who in one way or another put down the traditional concept of "race". Yes, we are all likely to be quite mixed. My wife is English. We can trace her lineage back several generations to English and Scots -- but her maiden name is Germanic, and her father's oral history said that the family came from Germany as reformation-era refugees.
Now the interesting part comes with my grandchildren. Their father, my daughter's husband, is African-American. Just what will they write down when they are old enough to go to school (oldest one enters first grade this fall) and are asked to identify by race! I too hope they will say something like "human"!! -
