It's kind of weird to put things into numbers.
I've been married 1/3 of my life.
You've been married 1/5 of your life.
I spent less time in HS and College combined than the amount of time I've been married.
I'm also the youngest of three, and in my immediate family I have the longest married time (my dad passed away and my mom remarried, but this was after I got married).
Kind of fun to rub that into my mom, brother and sister that I've got more current marriage years under my belt :tongue3:
It does and it doesn't.
Obviously, I married really young and so married life is mostly what I know.
It's pretty much all of my adult life!
But it seems like yesterday that we said our vows but then I look at all of the life we lived in there and it amazes me that it was so long ago.
My oldest daughter is 22 - older than I was when I married.
My second daughter will be 20 in July.
THAT amazes me!
Yep - but then I kept going.
:D
Had 2 miscarriages during fertility treatments, quit the fertility treatments then had one at 35 and another at 37.
NOW I'm done.
LOL
and yes to the same wife.
Notice I didn't say to the same woman because over the years we changed and are not the same people we were but she is the same wife.
