I can honestly say I have never heard that view, nor do I think it makes any sense. Did Christ accomplish something? I think so. He died for a purpose. To atone for the sins of those who would believe in him.

There you go again. You always have a vague explanation. We are all born of God by His will. and our belief in Him makes this possible.. What you over look is this below.
Gal 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Justification comes first and with out faith we have nothing to be justified for. Certainly not works.

I admit that it is by God's will that i'm saved yet He would not have saved me with out my faith in Him. That means I was willing as well. This is why I call it a relationship between God and me. Now your going to tell me my faith had nothing to do with it. but Eph. 2:8 says it does.

You would not have faith in Him if He had not given you faith.
God does it all for you, MB. He graciously does it all because you can't do it. And if you could, you would boast about it.
Paul wrote to the Galatians to refute those who thought they needed good works to remain saved.
God has given you faith. Praise Him for that gracious blessing to you.

Amen. Our Father gives His Gift of Faith to all who ask for it.

Mat 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?

Luk 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Luk 11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Jesus said: Jhn 6:44 No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

God the Father gives us the Gift of Faith when we ask Him. Otherwise, mortal men would claim all the credit for themselves. Amen?

None of the credit is ours.

    Utilyan,
You keep saying that "my God hates people unconditionally", and I keep telling you that there is a condition that He hates them for.
When are you going to acknowledge that?
Again, you're not reading the words.

The condition is sin, and man's unwillingness to repent.
    What's more, we hate Him.
I couldn't care less what John Calvin taught...
He doesn't do my understanding of God's word for me.

    Philippians 1:29

For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake

Belief in Him (Jesus) has been graciously given (χαρίζομαι) to us.

When you actually say a condition. Its not going to happen with unconditional election. The whole point is he declares to love you for no condition on your part, This is from the foundation before eternity past.

"God made these choices according to his own purposes apart from any conditions or qualities related to those persons."
