As a teenager - I loved - "I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus, Since I've found in Him a friend so strong and true .... "
Since I found Christ at age 18 - it's "Amazing Grace - How sweet the sound - that saved a WRETCH like me .... "
What's your favorite Hymn?

"My Lord Is Near Me All The Time"
I've seen it in the lightning, heard it in the thunder
and felt it in the rain; My Lord is near me all the time
My Lord is near me all the time
The Lightning/ I see His mighty power
The Thunder/ He shakes me to my very foundation
The Rain/ He sends me refreshing showers
The Baptist Hymnal 1991/Barbara Gaultney
and of course "There Is Power in the Blood" -

It goes without saying that I love the old hymns,
Love Divine
He Keeps Me Singing
To God Be the Glory, just to name a few.
My favorite "newer" song (although it's not ccm) is "The King of Who I Am."
You are my King, You are the Lamb
Lion of Judah, Seed of Abraham,
The Holy One, God's Only Son
You are the King of who I am.
Hosanna, Blessed be the Rock
Blessed be the Rock of my salvation,
Hosanna, Blessed be the Rock
Blessed be the Rock of my salvation. -
If I could only pick one, it would have to be...The Midnight Call. I can hardly get through it without crying.
Laurenda -
My Jesus I love Thee.
I choke up every time. -
I could name a few.
"It is Well with My Soul"
"O' For a Thousand Tongues to Sing"
"The Old Rugged Cross"
"How Great Thou Art"
"Count Your Blessings"
"Leaning on the Everlasting Arms"
"Pass it On"
How's that for starters?

Probably "How Firm a Foundation", with "Blessed Assurance" a close 2nd.
Mike -
One day - when I was baptised the choir was singing this.
Lead me to Calvary
The Lord `s my Shepherd (tune Crimond )
I need The every hour
I know whom I have believed -
The Old Rugged Cross
Angel Band
I Bowed on My Knees and Cried Holy -
It's probably a toss-up between "His voice as the sound of the dulcimer sweet"
Haruo -
The Love of God
by Fredrick Lehman
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.
Refrain
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.
When years of time shall pass away,
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
When men, who here refuse to pray,
On rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so sure, shall still endure,
All measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race—
The saints’ and angels’ song.
Refrain
Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above,
Would drain the ocean dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.
Refrain
((I love "word pictures" and the last verse is an AWESOME word picture for me!!))
