Too few Christians know or could show it from the Book.
Let's keep preaching the gospel to keep souls out of that dreadful place.

I believe it's in another dimension.
Many ancients believed it was inside the earth because they saw molten lava & fiery gases come out from underground. -

The wrath and anger of God against sinners, demons, evil and the devil is very present in hell -

I will say the Lake of Burning Sulfur will be located on the New Earth, as a horror to all who think of rebellion against Yahweh.
Isaiah 66:22-24
22“For just as the new heavens and the new earth,d
which I will make, will endure before Me,”
declares the LORD,
“so your descendants and your name will endure.
23From one New Moon to another
and from one Sabbath to another,
all mankind will come to worship before Me,”
says the LORD.
24“As they go forth, they will see the corpses
of the men who have rebelled against Me;
for their worm will never die,
their fire will never be quenched,e
and they will be a horror
to all mankind.” -
The LOF is already somewhere. Remember, it was prepared for the devil & his angels.

It is a horror, but not an eternal horror. And we can know that this vision is appropriate since Jesus referenced it as "hell" and affirmed that the bodies would be consumed -- "the worms that eat them do not die, and the fire is not quenched" in Mark 9:48. -

We preach the Gospel because it glorifies God. It is proclaiming the Word of God to the living and the dead.
God is always glorified when His Word is read and proclaimed. The outfall of that is
1. Sinners (the dead) are converted
2. Saints are edified -

Have you ever read:
Rev_14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the PRESENCE of the Lamb:

Also, hell and the lake of fire are not the same thing (Rev.20:11-15). -

I'm pretty sure we preach salvation to keep them out of hell.
(And sure, there are other reasons, like for the Lamb to gain the souls for which he died) -

Why address "Hell" when scripture addresses "Hades" and "Gehenna?" And where is Hades consigned in Revelation?
Where is the "Abyss? Where is the "Bottomless Pit?" -
