Like Joshua, I'm a Christian first and Baptist second. For me, what is important is whether there is a church (whatever it calls itself) locally where the Word of God is preached and the Spirit of God is active. That said:-
1. Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB)- web site here:- www.baptist.org.uk
2. No
3. Yes - brought up RCC, then Anglican (Episcopalian), then a mixture of Pentecostal and charismatic/ house church. Would more accurately describe myself as a post-charismatic conservative-ish evangelical as per the Evangelical Alliance - www.eauk.org
4. Don't know of any others in the UK, like Jon. If in the US, CBF or the moderates - SBC and IFB too conservative for me; ABC too liberal.

Confession time:
Question 2: I put CBF only because the churches I was a member of contributed[most of their offerings]to CBF. I still have mixed emotions over going full-steam ahead with them.
Question 3: I was a member of a United Methodist congregation for three months while in Starkville, MS. I have never actually been a member of a Cumberland Presbyterian church. I only put it there because I was seriously considering joining one of their congregations.
Hope this helps. -
