The Republicians are saying they may not attend. Why? Because they have no ideas of their own. So now they not only will be known as the party of NO, but also the party of NO SHOW.
Sometimes I wonder if the GOP wants to be a permanent minority party. All they do is say "no, no, no" to everything the Democrats propose, even if the Republicans did the same thing when they were in charge.
And by the way Democrats are losing all over the place. So your assertion that the GOP is in any way working toward being an minority party doesn't actually bear itself out. So no..you don't know what your talking about.
Crabby and Paul are towing the party mantra of saying the Repulicans have no ideas which they know is an outright lie. Obama and his socialist ilk just don't like the alternative ideas.
Republicans say they have ideas and are not the party of NO. But they never seem to articulate them. If they have such great ideas it seems that national TV would be a great place to present them and show how superior their ideas are to those being proposed. Instead they are saying they probably will not show up ... so this lends credibility to the believe that they have no ideas and are afraid to go on national TV. So they are also the party of NO SHOW.
I would welcome ideas from them to think over and use, if they have any.
How about Tort reform? But no! The Trial Lawyers who are fully in bed with the Dem's don't won't this.
How about insurance portability? But no, that would allow insurance companies to sell insurance across state lines. Any reasonable person would see that this is a good idea except democons.
How about ending favortism and sweetheart deals to get this legislation passed? But no! The unions and certain senators would be upset.
