Neither Jesus nor the Holy Spirit or the Father will give you an answer in contradiction to His Word.
If we were as afraid of sin as we are of legaism and holiness it would be a very different world we would live in.
When the flesh gets nailed it yells legalism and pleads with mercy to not be crucified.
That is our major problem in the Church.
Flesh is alive and well uncrucified when it is supposed to be dead and resurrected.
I don't think the context of the question dealt with internal combustion machines, but rather the need for spiritual answers.

If we would read God's Word with His Holiness in mind and not liberty and feelings, we would see a lot different posting on this board.

Exactly what do you mean by this statement?
An honest question, by the way......

... we would also see different posting if it were read to change the reader's life rather than to provide proof-text for foisting extra-biblical views on those who disagree with them.

You have aligned holiness and legalism against sin.
Legalism is sin.
It is not holiness.

Mention sin, it is accepted by Christian as something we will always have to deal with. Mention legalism and Christians point the finger. Mention Holiness and Christians believe it to be an attribute of God's, but never think about it being attainable by us.

I totally disagree with this assertion.
Legalism is the sin of pointing the finger.

Still working with a false dichotomy though.
We should fear the sin of legalism as much as any other sin.
Again, legalism is not holiness.
It is whited seplachures with death and uncleanness within.
I don't have a light view of sin especially for myself.
Legalists however seem to have this uncontrollable urge to not only share what the Bible says with others but to also tell them specifically it applies to the others.
I think this is a more dangerous line of thought than anything mentioned before... it has the stinch of defeatism and making an excuse before hand so that one can do what they intended to do all along.
If it is truly legalism and if they are truly Christians then the rebuke might be justified.
Personal holiness must be taught but the application is up to the Holy Spirit operating in the individual Christian.
Again, the legalist seems to have some kind of urge to do the Holy Spirit's work for Him by making sure the sinner knows just how to apply the teaching personally.

No, the Bible alone does not have all the answers.
God has all the answers, and God's answer will be revealed to you via the Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit.
No human person can "give" you a biblical answer.
A pastor can only give you biblical guidance.
Since the Bible is the living Word, you alone must ultimately find a Biblical answer via the Holy Spirit.
Others can only assist you in this endeavor; they cannot do the work for you, however.
