Hmmm, methinks you misspoke here- Only about a quarter of the six billion or so people in the world today speak English. (according to http://www.britishcouncil.org/english/engfaqs.htm#dcrys)
So I assume you are saying that all of the other nations need to learn KJV English in order to have the Word of God?

An illustration:
Your sinning brother brings a sinful thing in your house. What would you do?
1. Will you kick him out of your house?
or
2. Will you kick a sinfiul thing out of your house and keep him in your house?

Corrupted 'CORRUPT'
Oops, another misunderstood word that corrupts our
undestanding of the Bible
2Co 2:17 (KJV1611 Edition):
For wee are not as many which corrupt the word of God:
but as of sinceritie, but as of God, in the sight of God
speake we in Christ.
Strong's sez:
G2585
καπηλεύω
kapēleuō
kap-ale-yoo'-o
From κάπηλος kapēlos (a huckster); to retail,
that is, (by implication) to adulterate (figuratively):
- corrupt.
As usual, Strong's lists what the KJVs use, not what makes the
most sense. But why do the KJVs use 'corrupt'. Here is
a text that preceeds the KJVs:
2Co 2:17 (Geneva Bible, 1587):
For wee are not as many, which make marchandise of the woorde of God:
but as of sinceritie, but as of God in ye sight of God
speake we in Christ. -
Merchandising the Word of God
Yes. I do know the history of the KJV, and I know that much of what I said can (somewhat) be said about the KJV many years ago. I am just wondering what does it mean to "make merchandise" of the word of God. -
but yeah, u're right, Bro Ed--KJBOs don't know what standard they're advocating. they can't finger what exactly their KJB or TR is (altho some have tried ).
not that that keeps the pot fr calling the kettle racist names, tho! :tongue3: -
This one didn't take long to get out of hand.
