I use IE at home with windows Vista. Right. now I using my I-Phone. The
BB actually now runs as fast on my phone as it does on my computer, which
is pretty slow. At home I have broadband.

AndrewT, I am using IE7, and this page (the "Post Reply" page) took 47 seconds to load. Every other site I go to usually takes 5 to 8 seconds. Even BB used to take less time than it does now. It does NOT seem to be improving as I load additional pages on BB either.

Also, it looks like it is loading ads BEHIND the threads. At hte top of this "Reply to Thread" bos is a small strip of an add, that (if I move my pointer over it) refers to a "googleads.g.doubleclick.net/...." that I do not want to try to click to see what it takes me to.

Hope you can get this corrected soon!

    Bill :godisgood:

P.S. When I loaded the Smilies window to select this smilie, THAT window took 10 seconds to load! It used to load in about 2 seconds!

    Bill

I am using IE. It just took about a minute (which is an eternity these days on a computer) to get to the post reply box. It sure is causing me to spew my venom elsewhere which may make some of you very happy:thumbs:
Beenn on this board for 8-9 years now anf this is the first time I had any complaints like this.

Thank you, sir, for your untiring efforts to make the site work. Just moments ago, I came on with no problems and I am moving about freely,

    Cheers,

    Jim

PS. It is so much easier to complain than to correct.

Navigating at a pretty good speed, but one little problem has cropped up again.

When I open a new page, either directly or in a new window, it comes up with Andrews message, saying "Greetings unregistered." That's even though I have signed in already. I sign in on the new page and move on.

It doesn't happen all the time, but it happened this time.

Oops, I just tried to submit this post, and it came up with the message, "you are not logged in....(etc.).

It's now a couple of minutes later. I logged in and my post goes through. I wanted to add this info and the dialog box now asks me the reason for editing. So I typed in the reason.

This is a pleasure -- the site seems to be normal now, and not like molasses!

    Thanks, Andrew T.!
