This study explains why although the Law of Moses has not been abolished, nor can any command therein be disobeyed, certain commands are no longer observed, such as circumcision, festivals, sabbaths, and abstaining from certain foods. The study can be found in English here Why the Law Is Not Abolished, Yet Circumcision, Festivals, Sacrifices, Sabbaths, Foods Are No Longer Observed | Wisdom of God or in Spanish here Por Qué la Ley No es Abolida, Sin Embargo la Circuncisión, Festivales, Sacrificios, Sábados, Alimentos Ya No Se Observan | Sabiduria de Dios . Let us begin a discussion on these matters.

The Torah is established and not one jot or tittle has passed away (matt 5).
Sabbath on the 7th day should be observed by true believers. Switching it to sunday is the mark of a heretical catholic church and its daughters. (disobedience)
Everybody should follow the clean/unclean list in Lev 11 for their own health and for obedience sake.
Circumcision is still widely practiced by true believers, but may not be necessary until entering the land and eating passover.
Feasts can't be celebrated without a temple or priesthood, but they could be remembered and practiced in lieu of pagan holidays of easter, xmas, etc. -

Hebrews 4:9–11 Jesus is my Sabath.
-
The Sabbath predates the Jewish law and was given to all of creation in Gen 2:3. Isaiah prophecies about the Sabbath post the coming of the Messiah suggesting God is not finished with it yet.
Perhaps we get modern church meetings and the Sabbath confused, the early church met daily, we in general meet once a week and regard it as keeping the Sabbath because we went to church.. -
Question. Is the book of Galatians in your Bible?
-
Another lame attempt by Seventh-day Adventists.
(1) If not one jot or title of the law can be changed until all is fulfilled (Mt 5e:17-19), then you have no biblical authority to change one jot or title in your way of interpretation. That means all of the Law is still in full effect.
(2) The creation sabbath was endless until Adam sinned; that is why it was not bordered with an evening and a morning. Explain that. After sin entered, GOD CHANGED THE SABBATH to a weekly day of rest only for Israel in Exodus 16. Deny that if you can.
(3) Exodus 31:13-17 says that the weekly sabbath was a SIGN of God's Old Covenant with Israel. It cannot at the same time be for all nations and be a unique sing to Israel.
(4) Although Catholics claim to have changed the Sabbath, GOD CHANGED IT when He ended all holy days in Galatians 4;10-11 and Col 2:16-17 ---- notice the sequence --- monthly, weekly, seasonal, yearly. -
66:1-3 destroys the SDA doctrine that God lives in a literal temple patterned after that given to Moses for Israel.
6:10-14 destroys the SDA doctrine that literal Israel and Jerusalem are no longer involved in future prophecy and special God's love.
6:17 refers to unsaved persons attempting to save (sanctify) themselves using methods opposite to that what God teaches.
6:19-21 prophesizes a final gathering of all nations to Jerusalem which is totally ignored in SDA prophecy.
6:22 describes the literal Messianic reign of Christ on earth in terms of "new heavens and the new earth." This is more of a problem text for SDAs than others because they deny a literal Messianic reign of Christ on earth.
6:23 means "every day of the month" and "every day of the week" -- from one month to another; from one week to the next. If (as SDAs insist) 6:23 proves that the weekly Sabbath will be observed throughout eternity, it proves too much because it would also prove that the monthly Sabbath will be also (and SDAs do not teach that).
6:24 disproves the SDA doctrine of annihilation. It also places the events of Isaiah 66 during the Messianic reign on earth (the Millennium) and not following Revelation 21:4.
Rev 21:25 suggests that there will be no days and nights in the new Jerusalem --therefore no divisions of days
SDAs quote none of the texts surrounding 66:23 because their own theology denies both a literal restoration of Israel in the last days and/or any attempt to reconcile the texts in their own eschatological context. While quoting it to convince others, none of it makes sense in their own eschatology. The Sabbath Has Benn Changed Many Times -
Then I suppose that the Holy Spirit was wrong when He instructed the apostle Paul to pen Galatians, Ephesians and Colossians. I suppose He was also wrong when He inspired the writer of the Hebrew epistle.
Those that are attempting to be justified by the Law have fallen from grace (Gal. 5:1-4). -
Not turning on the lights is oral tradition - there is no need to follow precepts of men. The Jews have over 1000 laws in regard to sabbath while scripture has only 7. It is easy to keep. -
2. All laws are only for Israel. They are the ones in covenant with Him.
3. Yes, it is a sign of true believers. Either you join yourself to His people (Israel) or you remain outside of covenant
4. That is totally in error and wrong. -
You are justified by obedience to the Creator. Otherwise, you really don't believe in Him. -
Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day." (Exodus 35:3 [NIV])
Turning on the lights is as lighting a fire. -
Exo 35:3 “Do not kindle a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.”
This is not pertaining to turning on a light, but the act of starting a fire by gathering wood. Some even point that this is most likely even the act of starting a fire for the purpose of work production. The Creator wouldn't want people to freeze to death, so keeping a fire would make the most sense. What is being asked is that all of the work in doing so be done ahead of time most likely which was quite laborious. -

Then I suppose that the Holy Spirit was wrong when He inspired Paul to write Colossians 2? Read also Ephesians 2, Hebrews 8, 9 & 10.
"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."-James 2:10
If one keeps part of it, they are required to keep all of it. Jesus' death fulfilled the entire law. -
Ephesians 2 talks about engrafting and that by belief. Belief and obedience always go hand in hand.
Hebrews actually validates keeping torah (especially chapter 10)
Paul wasn't talking about doing away with torah by any means. Jesus did fill the law full of meaning (hebrew idiom) and scripture says we should walk as he walked. Perfect obedience to every word proceeding out of the mouth of the Father. Isn't that beautiful? -

JB: Keeping the sabbath on a Saturday in Israel being the seventh day I believe is legitimate. However, the rest of society moves to a different calendar and its 7th day is Sunday. So you see, one can keep the sabbath day no problems at all. Both being the 7th day for each calendar. :) -
If we are living under the Old Testament Law, why is it that there are so many priests who are not from the tribe of Levi? The Old Testament declared that the Levites formed the priesthood. "For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law." (Hebrews 7.12.) "He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second."(Hebrews 10.9.)
