How’s this then, “the devil that you know is better than the one you don’t”... then there is that the Democrat is one who preformed better than the republican candidate.

I don’t vote party lines... I vote for the person who will best represent the state, the community, and my own interests. If I don’t trust someone, I don’t vote for them.

Politicians can afford to discuss real life issues like burning coal... and bringing coal jobs back... not caring of course how it’s gotten and at what price. My bottom line is I would insist that every idealist, every lofty bourgeois, work with his hands at a desperate living, in the field and mine and factory, before he ever uttered one word in ‘behalf of mankind.”

Would you have preferred someone like Perot in office in place of all that has transpired since?

If an 'R' abortionist beats a 'D' abortionist it takes us closer to that magic number of '60'.

Ross Perot, the tycoon who ran independently against Bush and Clinton.

Some people don’t care to waste their time with rhetorical statements. Others seem to thrive on wasting anyone’s time if it gets them the attention they crave, even as they resort to insults, & contribute nothing of value. Seems there are no consequences here for posters who repeatedly have to have posts removed. No wonder you’re here 24/7. No consequences=spoiled child behavior. Get to it now, must be time to question my intelligence, my manhood, or the old standby, I should go chase myself. Pathetic.

And when one nothing constructive to say on the subject, they blow smoke or just muddy the waters.

Yea. And I labored, diligently, responsibly, and was promoted to supervisory and then management level, which also happens to be '"labor jobs" in their own right.

I don't know what your point is. Is it that those that work with their hands cannot be a Republican?
