I researched some details about children according to the Scriptures. I was little confused about 2 sides debating on children.
The Question: Will ALL children go to Heaven? For example, 8 or 12 years old boy will go to Heaven after he dies.
Group 1
Some people believe ALL children will go to Heaven after they die. No question about accepting Jesus as their personal Savior. Suppose, the children do not have the ability to choice or reject Jesus.
Group 2
Some people believe ALL children start to understand about lies, stealing, fighting so these are sins. They need to accept Jesus as their personal Savior.
Both groups believe infants and retarded children will go to Heaven.
Please discuss on both groups so that will help me see what the Bible teaches.
Thanks!

A five year old can understand from his parents that lying is wrong, but can he understand his choice to lie will cause spiritual death to pass on him? I don't believe so.
Scripture that I believe supports the age of accountability are Deut 1:39, Isa 7:16, Jon 4:11, and others.
And I am not certain that children do not have innate faith.
Mat 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea.
Jesus said these small children believed -
All Children will go to heaven
All children who are unable to make a rationale decision will go to heaven.
All children of Christians are a part of the Covenant will go to heaven.
All Children who have been Baptized will go to heaven
No children will go to heaven.
I do not know. Debating this topic is like nailing jello on a wall, it is worthless and speculative at best. I know I can trust God in whatever He has chosen and can rest that He is all wise and Holy. He is God, I will let Him remain as such. -

This answers your question;
3._____ Elect infants dying in infancy are regenerated and saved by Christ through the Spirit; who worketh when, and where, and how he pleases; so also are all elect persons, who are incapable of being outwardly called by the ministry of the Word.
( John 3:3, 5, 6; John 3:8 ) -
My position, with following changes to it!
believe that once the Child realises/becomes aware of their sin and that it is morally wrong, and that God now holds them personally responsible for them being commited...
that is when need to place faith in and receive jesus as their saviour!
Also, key to this is the biblical idea that God will be able to apply the Grcae from the Cross of Christ towards those who are NOT able to either place faith in Christ yet, or else not personally accountible to Him yet for their sins!
Also, seen where some hold that JUST children of the elect will actually go to heaven as their parents faith 'covers them"...
Also seen where they say JUST those whom God had elected would get saved out...
And some hold that unless they personally place faith in jesus, will die in their sins!
Please discuss on both groups so that will help me see what the Bible teaches. -

Sinners by birth, who choose to sin against God
We are NOT born in state of Grace/innocence, and get a sin nature ONLY once we choose to sin! -

So if He choses NOT to show us that we need Him, we can still be saved?
We would all be saved by the Cross, and only remove ourselves from Grace to judgement based upon how we respond and act?
This appears to open gate to Universalism, and denys just HOW much the fall of Adam cursed and effected the Human race! -

Adam sinned and the fall created us as sinful natured beings, NOT God!Click to expand...
1) In conception, what exactly is concieved, the physical body, or the physical body AND soul?
2) Where does the soul come from?
If you answer these correctly using your bible, you will see that we are not born sinners inwardly, but only outwardly(our fleshly bodies). -

What I like about this statement is it leaves everything in God's hands:thumbs:

The number...if it be ..ALL...SOME....None...God who always does right...determines:thumbs::applause:
If we leave it where it belongs..in God's hands....how can we go wrong?
Willis......would it be okay if God puts a limit on who he has elected...based on His infinite ,eternal, Holy Wisdom??? We know it is a multitude that no man can number....but what if He has reasons for not choosing all...would that be okay? -

Did you choose that you were born with blue eyes or brown? If you are born with blue eyes, can you choose to have brown eyes?
So, if we are born sinners who can only sin, we cannot be responsible for sinning.
And that is the whole idea of this false doctrine, it makes perfect excuse for man's sin and blames God. -
Winman,
It does indeed do exactly that. -

You are not getting it. It makes no difference if we sin or not we are all still in Adam at birth. That is why we need to be born again. There has only been on sin that causes man to be lost and that was the sin in the garden. The tree is now gone. From Adam to Moses there was no law to break and man was still lost because of being related to Adam.
The law was not given to make men lost or to save them. The law was added because of the transgression. It was to show man that he had no way to God except by God's grace. Our sins do not cause us to be lost as we are already born into sin.
All have sinned and fell short of the Glory of God, not some, ALL!
In the case of babies who die there may very well be some provision that God has not told us about to get them into heaven, but scripture does not deal with any age limits.
