Actually, it should help Trump. Washington DC is the most corrupt capital in the world because all that potential for good is going into the pockets of the government employees and the politicians. They don't care what happens to John Q. Citizen--we are on our own and at the mercy of terrorists from all over the world. It is the President of the SBC who should be ashamed--but he probably wants a taxpayer handout, too.

Of course, he'll survive it. Why wouldn't he? The leftist media has no affect on him. And left wing republicans can't shut off his money supply. The only person that can stop Trump is Trump.

Russel Moore is doing his best to turn Southern Baptists off from supporting Trump. Someone should remind Moore and Floyd that there are sufficient problems within the SBC for them to address rather than interjecting themselves into national politics as the voice of Southern Baptists.
It might also be wise to have Moore take a refresher course on the history of relations between muslims and Christians over the centuries. Islam is a cult, following the teachings of a violent false prophet, bent on spreading their heresy by any means necessary.

I think that Trump will survive this controversy like he has done all the others he's got himself in to. That's more of the problem to me, and imagine if he was already president and he'd have come out with a statement like that, how would he have fared then might be totally different.

Does Trump use the word vigilant as a place holder when he doesn't know how to respond?

I'm actually quite surprised that he knows what the word vigilant means. Also, if all Muslims are stopped from entering the country, does that mean that people can be less vigilant?

I listened to the audio of that riding in my car. He has got to know how silly he sounds. Whenever he doesn't have a concrete plan for something, he repeats the same words. If he had said "vigilant" one more time...

I think they may like it that way. She's got some real issues I'm sure she would rather not have them focused on. And she doesn't need publicity to get the nomination. She's a lock.

There's nothing there. DT is hogging the news cycle just the way he likes it. The story really doesn't point to anything illegal.

She seemed to basically hand it off to someone else. All they wanted, really, was essentially to be able to meet with the State Department. Companies do it all the time. This feels like someone basically asking to be included in a LINKEDin network.

I don't follow you. Trump went to the Wharton School--I worked for a guy who went to the Wharton School--those guys are smart!

I have no doubt at all that Trump is a very smart man, but maybe not in a smart clever way. I think he knows just what buttons to press with people, and he knows exactly what he's doing making statements like this.

The man loves being in the media, more than he does running for president, and no matter what happens in regards to the latter is concerned, there's no doubt after this campaign who is the master of the media circus.

Good for them. It's about time folks in the Body of Christ start thinking Christ FIRST!!!

I suppose if they had come out in support of Trump and thereby show support for the foolish ,unGodliness he's spreading, you would have been okay with that? I't s like the right wants to continue making known that they don't care about anyone but unborn babies.

Who cares what the relationship between Muslims and Christians has been? Once again, it's as though some of you don't read your Bibles. And if you do, you don't care what it says.

It's well past time that at least a remnant start acting like they are followers of Christ and not whomever a party puts up for President.

Zaac, you said a couple of days ago that you are a Fundamentalists so how can you tolerate Russell Moore and the SBC especially since Moore incompetently misquoted Trump?
