Woman in Ohio

Last week a woman in Ohio was arrested for breastfeeding her baby, talking on her cellphone and driving a car all at the same time. Talk about someone trying to multi-task. I haven't heard what the penalty will be yet. What do you all think about that? :godisgood:

She endangered her child placing it behind the wheel with her whole she was driving. Very poor judgment.

If you are in such a rush that you can't stop to feed your baby, you're nuts.

She completely endangered the child and every other driver on the road. I saw an interview with her and she saw nothing wrong with what she did.

Idiot.

I'm glad that she didn't find out that a baby doesn't make a very good air bag in an accident. I hope it was just a case of poor judgment on the part of a mom in too big of a hurry.

Poor judgement and child endagerment are good evaluations. It's one thing to be parked, it's another thing when you put others at risk while driving!!! :godisgood:

If she had the phone in one hand and the baby in the other, how did she hold the steering wheel--with her feet? Talking on the phone while driving is dangerous enough, without endangering her baby's life.

I would guess with her knee, but I wouldn't think you could turn a corner.

Some folks can't make a decent turn with both hands on the wheel . . .

I'd really like to know what she was thinking (or NOT) ;)

This seems to be the common defense used by women who want to feed in public. It seems to excuse a lack of judgment and modesty.

And the next time I see a woman nursing in a moving pew, I'll reprimand her.

No one has even mentioned how she was endangering all the other drivers on the road as well, not just her baby!
