Let those of you who are without sin cast the first stone.
Right now if we have Trump who may not be perfect but his record in office shows to be faithful and fair to America, religious practices and unborn children.
VS
A blatantly homosexual sodomist who Claims to spread the Gospel but publicly spreads Satan...
I know. It's a sad situation. I didn't vote for anyone for President in 2016. I will likely vote for Trump this time around. He's been good for the country. Now about that tweeting...
The dems are in a real problem here, for if Bernie makes it, they know will lose big time once exposed, but if Bloomberg gets it, the Bernie supporters will feel jobbed again, and not turn out to vote!
Not trying to start another topic but the OP is inaccurate in its wording as
it would be impossible for him to be married ( because marriage is Biblically defined as between a man and woman). But no I would not vote for him. If he could single handedly wipe out all debt and get unemployment to 0 he still supports abortion and homosexuality. No nation that ignores biblical morality in favor of financial prosperity will escape the judgment of God. I will not be a party to that kind of overt hostility to the Lord's clear commands.
I know a Sanders supporter, who also has anarchist leanings. His only interest in politics is Sanders, and he says wont vote for anyone else. Yes very true, Sanders has sliced the party in half and broken it.
#50 "Celibate. Christian. Gay."
That would assume that "gay" is who a person is and not an action born out of same sex lust.
I know several ex homosexuals. They turned from that activity and take any susequent thoughts captive. They are Christians and don't excuse their temptations. They also know that their temptations do not define them.
But to answer your question. No I would still not vote for him. The same Democratic party policies remain in place under your scenario.
I learned a long time ago not to get into the philosophic "what if" game.
But...
No. I would not vote for them because gay and Christian are not and cannot be compatible.
Unless...
And there would have to be much prayer and a certain amount of discernement involved as
this could
a case of culturally conditioned identification.
As stated in my post #54. They are not acting on their lusts and if the reason for using the term "gay" is because of continued same sex temptation which they promptly turn over to the Lord
then perhaps they are simply a product of the mindset of their perverse culture and need to be shown the way of truth more perfectly.
There would be other variables but I would vote no unless it were shown to my satisfaction that my unless scenario above were the case. If the Son has made them free they are free indeed and in turn I may be free to vote for them.
There are many in my job environment. I count many of them my friends. This does not mean I approve of their sin. None of them, that I know, call themselves Christian, therefore I do not confront them to change their behavior. They are sinners by nature, bound in sin by their master. I pray for them that they might be reconciled to Christ. When Christ has redeemed them, then I can talk with them and counsel them to flee their sexual sin.
