Hmm, peaceful protest is fine and all, but blocking roads is a no-go in my book.

Which group of people were talking about taking to the streets, civil war, etc. before the election?

I agree with Rob. Protests should be peaceful.

Obama got elected twice; there was talk of taking to the streets, civil war, martial law, etc. then, too.

Only the liberals have actually thrown emotional temper tantrums.

    Something to think about.

"Conservatives" have been throwing temper tantrums for 8 years. That's why nothing gets done in Congress. Old, white, politically conservative men are really why the country is so divided. Y'all may not want to admit it, but it is what it is.

Do you have links to the road blocking protests in multiple states from when President Obama was voted into office?

Old white politically conservative men huh..... So I'm old & white & conservative but I just had a discussion with my lovely wife (who is my age) & white. However she is a liberal. She supports liberal movements who are pissed off that DJT is now POTUS. So she is an advocate of public demonstrations against Trump-nick. Is she correct in your book Zaac?

No, I'd send them back to their rooms in their parent's basements and no ice cream for a week.

I will definitely admit to it Zaac and I am keeping a very close eye and ear on our admittedly flawed president elect Trump. True, there is not much he can do while president "elect" but still he can give more details on his plan to "Make America Great Again".

I remember how we criticized president Obama when he had both the house and the senate and couldn't (or wouldn't) do anything to break up the log jam or pass certain GOP favored bills. Of course Harry Reid ignoring said bills staked up on his podium didn't help either.

Not that I am either Democrat or Republican, but I am a realist.
FWIW I am a small "i" independent (I disavow all political parties), pro-life being number 1 on my personal agenda.
Here in WA I have a "No Preference" political affiliation.

Now the party tables are turned and I for one would like to see tangible results from a president Trump starting January 21 2017 (he can have the rest of Inauguration Day off after the swearing in :)).

As I see it he must begin quickly with even small results early on in order to begin to build personal trust among the American people and the GOP.

He and Hillary both took a vicious beating from their respective opponents, healing MUST begin.

Really? Where were the protests by conservatives? Where was the blocking of traffic? Examples, please.
You're partially correct. "Old politicians" are really why this country is so divided. Doesn't matter that they're men; doesn't really matter that they're white, because people like Jeremiah Wright and Al Sharpton are just as divisive as any old white man. You may not want to admit it, but it is what it is.

Well, Old white democrats in the northeastern and rust belt cities do not have much to gloat over either. I would argue term limits for all elected offices would be a good start.

But more to the point of your comment is that the progressive left has been running an indoctrination program in this country for decades. It is now coming to fruition. This election might be the last time that the conservative base has enough bodies to effect the election. I hope that Trump will live up to his promises, but I doubt that this election will stop the downfall of this nation. Worldwide it seems this is the age of the progressivist.

I believe the storm clouds of Second Civil War are on the horizon.

IMO, progessivism is marxism with a thin veneer of deception disguising it.

It can be nipped in the bud. One tactic is to simply ignore it while our country is being made great again.

Ignore the Alinsky tactics like the one illustrated in the o/p (But don't ignore the o/p itself).
Although this trick didn't seem to work to topple Trump.

Well...I wouldn't go so far as to say "Second Civil War." Unless you mean, through the use of the Alinsky tactics, the liberals take over the country and the "rural=stupid" communities rise up in retaliation...in which case, it will still be a short war, because the "rural=stupid" communities are the ones with all the guns....

In order for the libs to have a chance, they have to either take away all the guns, or loosen the gun restrictions and start stock-piling themselves.

(mostly just kidding and joking around here...mostly....)

The fact that these protests are in multiple cities, on the same night, even using the same chants, points to a central entity that is organizing them. Soros?
