I do not have a list. The ESV following the RSV translating the Greek apo as "before" in,Revelation 13:8, where as the NRSV corrected it to "from.". Then there are the typical CT bad texts, like in Luke 4:4 omitting "every word of God."

Which is the greater witness for a reading, "textual evidence", or what the Bible actually says? The way that I see it, is that God made sure that the huminist Erasmus restored the verse to its Original reading, after it was removed by enemies of the Trinity!

Adam Clarke, like the majority of commentaries, simply rejects the passage as not genuine. I can say without any doubt, that they are well wrong!

Why are they wrong? What is the Greek manuscript evidence for the reading? The old Latin evidence? The Greek grammar evidence? Not here, but in a thread for this topic. [I will look at this again.].

Did not know those on the nas/Esv translation teams were all "enemies of the trinity"

Little support from Greek texts, as seems to be a reading brought over and in from Vulgate?

these revisers are just following a text that has been done before, without checking the actual data for themselves!

Think they do know the reasons for why it was excluded though!

A case in point is how the KJV translates Genesis 22:8 where Abraham explains to Isaac who the sacrifice will be. The KJV reads: "God will provide HIMSELF a sacrifice." That's exactly what He did when Jesus sacrificed His life for us!

    @StephenUSAFVet

    My thoughts?
Just reading the comments by several in this thread discourages me in so many ways.

To me, the state of the professing body of Christ saddens me greatly, and I'm reminded of many Scriptures that tell us what it will be like in the last days.

Does your post in this thread attempt to cast a bad light on other posters who may not agree with your unproven TR-only position?

    Not at all.

My post was intended to voice my concern and sadness over not only contradicting ideas about what God's words really are, but where they can be found and what actually constitutes sound doctrine among those who profess Christ.
In my opinion, it's a confusing mess and it's only getting worse.

    In fact, I'm reminded of 1 Timothy 4:1-5, 2 Timothy 3:1-9, 2 Timothy 3:13 and several others.
That is why I'm convinced that we are in the very last of the last days.

    Despite all that,
Look up, my friends, He's very close.
Can you not see the signs of the times?
When it is the most dire, that is how it will be right before He comes again.:)

" Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"

" ....Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?"

I'm not KJVO but very much convinced that we are in the last days as predicted in the Holy Bible. We here in western society are in deep deep trouble I am certain of that.

The problem here is not what Bible translation we use but how seriously we take the actual words of the translation we actually have in our hands.
