Just curious, as there seems to be some holding to covenant who tend to see Church and Iareal are exactly same thing now, while other still some "something" God has in Mind for national Israel!

Do you hold to all of the Covenant theology, as in Israel and Church same, 5 points of Grace, strict observance of lord's day, Confession of faith etc?

You give a strict definition of Covenant Theology and I will answer according to that particular definition.

No. They would be Covenantists who baptize. :Biggrin

"Baptist" is a distinctive, not a denominations. Christians can be a lot of things and be Baptist.... to include affirming Covenant theology.

Much of CT is correct, but I think it totally botches it with Israel and the Church. They are distinct. Also, it should be noted, that CT gives way to infant baptism if you take it to its full enclosure.

Before, I thought covenant theology was the belief that God made covenants with his people and then I came to this website.

Here is a textbook definition of Covenant Theology by Donald McKim:

"A theological perspective most developed by 17th-century Reformed theologians. It focuses on the ways in which the divine-human relationship has been established by "covenants." These include God's covenant of grace and works, though the latter is not recognized by all Reformed theologians."

Yeah, I hate the terminology of Covenant of Works. I understand it, I just hate it for obvious reasons
