Wow, P4T, what's happened with you? Considering R.C. Sproul's stances with immediate regeneration and preterism I'm surprised to see you promulgating his views.
I use the Kindle for PC. Just go to the Amazon website and search for Kindle for PC. You can download it for free. They will do anything to sell books.
Well don't be so shocked kyredneck, I even tolerate some of the nonsense you come up with and still read your posts! Let me know when you get something released on Kindle. :love2:
I apologize to you if you haven gotten such an impression. Certainly there are things we both can't tolerate well -- a synergistic soteriology being one of them I would suspect.
Wrong. I have more than tolerance for my free willer kin, I was once there myself. Monergism is 'advanced theology' but has zilch to do with one's 'Christianity'. Not a doubt in my mind there are many synergists that enjoy a closer walk with the Lord than I have.
That wasn't my point. I'm not talking about persons -- I'm speaking of a theology. This is along the same lines of what you mentioned in the thread about 'what bothers you the most about non-cal theology' or close to that title. Your answer was synergism. I've attempted to find common ground with you on that and apologize for not being more clear on that point.
To your answer there I agree. In fact I am preaching/teaching in an SBC church and they would hold to synergism unkowingly perhaps and I love them dearly -- but they are accepting the facts of monergistic theology, God is blessing and they are thinking and growing. Perhaps someday they will all truly know what it means to give God all the glory.
