Perhaps you would like to go to Iraq and help "negotiate" with the terrorists who are holding hostages to be beheaded.
Maybe you would be the perfect American to do just that and you can pave the way for peace and understanding in the planet.
Or perhaps we all should stop and examine just how we live so well on a planet of such poverty... maybe because we use other people for our material convienence?
How do you think they feel?
At least you're being consistent, because several folks on this board would never say the same thing about the Jews in regards to their belief in Jesus.
That being said, whether one has accepted or rejected Christ doesn't make one any more or less in need of his blood than anyone else.
I have accepted Christ, and, being, as Paul said, a chief of sinners, I need Christ now more than I ever have.

Your are right Jesus was the Son of God.
He was neither of which you speak. He was the only one to come forth from the tomb where He was laid.Outside the Bible over 14 sources record people meeting Jesus after His resurrection. You better really read somethings.
The radical factions of Islam do hate the infidels thats about everyone and they wait for their messiah Isa to come and have their version of the End Times. They even know what he looks like down to the hair colour. They say that the Jewish people distorted everything and so did the Christians. They want their version of the Truth as their prophet stated. So who is the greater fool? Jewish people have been in their Holy City for a long time, only they never had any political rights or were they a nation. The fact that they Jewish people remain who they are should tell you something.
How about the historical evidence? One, the Jewish people are a historical people. You can dig up their ruins and trace them through a number of ancient texts, even outside the Bible. So Jesus came through a historical people who looked for a coming messiah, that since Moses and the first Passover. These are documented historical events. What do you think that millions of Jews celebrate Passover because they need something to do on that day?
So the Tigres and Eurphrates river do not flow either? Go to the archeaologists and seek the answer. Joesph was in Paroah's favour for its all over some the Eyptian writings in several finds. Everytime they look at the Bible it proves itself.
How could so many writers over a long period, thousands of years, write within the same context and theme?
Islam comes around 600 years after Christ and has no historical roots, though they claim them. Was Islam there when Israel went to Babalyon? No it was not. Paganism was.
Was it there when Chist died and rose. No, it was not. Rome was there and so was their paganism.
So it has no history comparatively.
This crazy man, as you put it, rose from the dead!
Problem is, the Trilemma doesn't work.
First, it assumes that the accounts are 100% accurate in the sense that you are interpreting them as.
Second, you are using modern perspectives on sanity that cannot be applied to those living in a time and place of magic and revelation; claims of Christ's sort were fairly common, and not absurd notions by any means.
Third, strong belief can makes falsehoods into truth in the eyes of those who are devout, desperate, etc.; even if there was a deliberate lie to catch the ear of the nonebeliever, the teachings of Christ are worth well enough to forgive the fib.
Muslims bellieve that Jesus did not die on the cross but that he went on to live his life as a respected prophet, they do not believe he is God. Therefore they are in total contradiction with our belief that Jesus is the Christ and is God. If Jesus Christ is our God, he cannot be the Muslims' Allah.
God and Allah are therefore two different concepts. We are triniteists whereas muslims are monotheists.
Bush implying that christians and muslims pray to the same God shows clearly that he is not a true Christian, as he does acknowledge by saying this that Jesus Christ would not be God, but simply a version of Allah.
Since when have Muslims spit on Christ?
They may not revere him as Lord, but they do respect him... not something that a merciful God would create needless suffering over! </font>[/QUOTE]Muslims do not believe in Christ. They respect Jesus the man as a prophet and outstanding human being, but that is all. they do not spit on Jesus, that is for sure. As for Christ they have no idea what it is all about.
And as they are either hated, disenfranchised, or both... I would agree, as the Democratic party has moved to address their issues more than the Republicans.
But many denominations and sects of Christianity disagree on these points, which are not well supported by scripture; the Trinity is pretty shakey all around (coming from Catholic dogma from the fourth century), while the naming of Christ the Son of God is mostly a concept that comes out of John, and not the other Gospels.
I can understand why others wouldn't jump on board... and if they carry out Christ's work anyway, why should we reject them?
But 'Allah' simply means 'Lord' in their language!
They directly link their God to ours... and accept what scripture came before their doctrines, with some different interpretation.
Not a good reason to exclude, and even if they were completely wrong, why not use their faith as a springboard into our own?
