Notice paragraph 7 of the article.

People/media really have twisted the term "fundamentalist" into a negative caste. Anything to draw ire from others against Christianity. This guy is no rep, that's for sure.

A Christian Fundamentalist?

It's already made it to the first paragraph in this article
Sad for the people and victims. Sad that we'll be grouped with the wackos. -
Always the negative about believers. Muslims? Well, they are trying to portray them as peaceful, loving citizens while they attempt to kill hundreds at a time. To the extent we spend billions to fight them. Yeah, I know, "not all of them are that way."
But, when do you hear the media say that ("they're not all like this") about Christians?
Hmmm.
- Peace -
"Fundamentalist" now means wack job who is living in the 15th century. Christian Reconstructionsts, for example.
-
A right-wing Christian fundamentalist...who cites Kant and Machiavelli on his Facebook page?
Agh, my brain hurts. -
I used to gladly call myself a fundamentalist until terrorists and other weirdos started being called "fundamentalists". I certainly don't want to be grouped with those people.

Innuendo by the Media
Here is a recent headline on MSNBC.
At least 85 dead in Norway youth camp attack
Premier says 'my youth paradise' has turned into 'hell'; police say suspect's website indicates he was a right-wing, Christian fundamentalist
(emphasis mine)
It is my hope that respected spokespersons for the cause of Christ and Christianity will "speak out" against violence perpetrated by "loons" of any flavor. We must combat the media born message of all christians not being of sound mind or rationality. -
That is one reason I don't attribute a title to myself in regards to my faith. What a title means to me may mean something totally different to another.
-
Christianity will not do this, but the world system is advancing to eclipse it instead, and dispell all things God from society.
Christ shall return, literally, physically, bodily as He promised. In the same manner as His first Advent.
I'll comment on this later, Lord willing.

93 now confirmed dead. Real Christians prayed in Oslo's Cathedral this morning for their families, led by the King and Queen.

We need to be asking those who label this guy as a 'Christian fundamentalist' questions like, "Oh, what church did he attend every Sunday?...who was his pastor..."etc -

I Totally Agree with this POST!
This is one of those timely posts. Kudos to p4t.
This killer/terrorist is NOT a representative of Christianity, at least not the Christianity we on this borad adhere to and follow.
I'm sure time will reveal that he was more of a leftist looney tune, spook fruit type, flake.
Unfortunately, anyone can claim to be a follower of Christ. Look at the report of the seven sons of Sceva in Acts, who went about exorcising demons. When they tried to cast REAL demons out demons out of someone they came across, the demons admitted to knowing Jesus and Paul, but not them, thus the demons proceded to beat two of the seven sons up, so badly, that they were bloody and left naked, as they ran out of the house (Acts 19:13-17).
This gentleman in Norway will prove to be another false claimant like those from Westboro Baptist church.
Shalom,
Pastor Paul :type: -
FYI:
Anders Behring Breivik held fiercely to anti-Muslim and pro-Israel views.
“Breivik wrote that it was essential to "fight" for a "Judeo-Christian Europe", praised the rejection of "anti-Jewish views" and stated that "the new Conservatist ‘new right’ is rapidly developing into a pro-Israel, anti-Jihad alliance." He applauds Israel, and considers Israel to be a victim of "cultural Marxists" who "see Israel as a 'racist' state".”
The Norwegian Socialist Party wanted Israel Bombed.
Norwegian campsite Utoya where the massacre occurred was Socialist and anti-Israel. -
He may have been called that by the media and himself in his delusional state....his actions are simply that of a madman with way too much access to high powered weaponary:tear:, reminds me so much of the Port Arthur Tragedy in Tasmania Australia a number of years ago:tear:. Sentence him, lock him up and deny any oportunity to give him a platform....in effect bury him alive....that is what has happened to "whathisname" in Tasmania.
-
It looks like the Norwegian courts are going to allow him to have his say at the hearing today. If this comes true I am appalled that any legal system would give him a platform.

Er...no: good news is that the hearing is taking place in private so he can't.

“Norway gunman 'has accomplices'
Norwegian police are investigating claims by Anders Behring Breivik, who has admitted carrying out Friday's twin attacks in Norway, that he has "two more cells" working with him.
Mr Breivik made the claim at his first court hearing since the bombing in Oslo and massacre at an island youth camp.
Prosecutor Christian Hatlo said police could not rule out that someone else was involved and confirmed an investigation was underway into Mr Breivik's claims that he had worked in a cell, or group, and that there were two other cells.”
I find it a little improbable, but not at all impossible, that he worked alone in this; he had no military or law enforcement training/experience, and no criminal background. -
Crazy people should not have civil rights?

Yes, he's Norway's equivalent of Timothy McVeigh or these right-wing 'survivalists' who hole themselves up in Montana.
