Can't do that unless you vote no, if I understand it properly.
As majority leader , it was his responsibility if he knew the vote would fail, and everybody knew it would. Another one of those Senate rules.

He doesn’t represent everyone? Um, yes he does, because of his position. That’s like saying Trump doesn’t represent the United States because he doesn’t represent what every citizen wants. I’m sorry if you find my position extreme. I felt it better to leave than remain & possibly be divisive, because as you say, most probably don’t know the direction of the SBC under such leadership......but maybe they should.

1. No he doesn't represent the views of all SBC.
2. He doesn't reflect the views of all leaders in the SBC.
3. The SBC makes decisions from the bottom up not the top down.
