I think they all think this is the "anti-dis-establishment days", and with how famous the Kent State thing became, And the "70's" movie, that they think that they too will become famous. Their 15 minutes of fame thing, is causing a lot of pressure and stress on our Security. Time that should be devoted to protecting us from terrorist is being used to stop the nonsense that is literally destroying their own cities.
You may be against the War, but come on....they are already over there. You are really stupid if you think they are going to turn around and come right back now.
Even the Iraq people are so glad to see us there. The Muslims say that Saddam is not a Muslim. They do not care for him. It seems the protesters are the only ones who want Saddam around. The bombimg of New York, London, Israel, and other places was not enough for them.
What exactly are they protesting anyway? (sarcastically speaking)

Protesters have the right to protest. They do NOT have the right to destroy property, be disruptive and flaunt authority.
They are hurting their cause because they look so stupid. They are even beating each OTHER up!
I just wish they were smart enough to realize WHY they have the freedom to protest in the FIRST place!
Sherrie; I agree with you. What good does it do to protest a war we are already fighting???

I have an idea.
Everyone contact their govenor and ask him to donate one of the sports stadiums for a day then invite all the complainers to come and blow off steam, have the media, have a general purpose dummy to burn in effigy, punching bags, etc...
Make it a national holiday!

Are you sure 2 Timothy 4:5?
Matthew 3:
7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Matthew 12:
7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Matthew 23:
33Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

I find it amazing to see anti-war protesters, such as in Egypt, engaging in violence.
The jig is up.
Most of these anti-war protesters are ignorant know-nothings trying to make what they perceive as their meaningless lives worth something.
The leaders of these protests are not anti-all war, just anti-wars that protect freedom. These leaders are the same group that thought the Soviet Union was great. They are anti-freedom(except for themselves), anti-capitalist, anti-free enterprise. They are known as leftists, socialists, or communists.
They, dear friends, are a despicable group. It is a real shame to see so many young people being duped by them like the generation of hippies and flower children were in the late 1960's - early 1970's. -
-
I disagree with them and I feel they are ignorant of the issues and brainwashed by the media and Liberals, but I served 20+ years in uniform that they may the right to express their ignorance.
We never learn from history. Protesting did not do anything in the 60's and I really don't think they expect anything to happen now. It is just an effort to besmirch the President and ahave something to point to at the next election.
If Shakespeare were here he might have said, "First we deport all the Demcrats. -
BTW, they ar emad that George is even there so if Christ materialized behind George at a press conference with one arm around him and giving a thumbs up the Dems would still try and thwart anything George did. I still here about how he stole the election and snuck in and is illegal and such from Dem coworkers. Sore losers.

My oldest son called me yesterday and in the course of the conversation he told me he had seen something on the news that left him in tears from laughing so hard -- the announcer was the same way. Some fellow was bashing another fellow -- or attempting to -- with his peace sign...
There's an old one-liner that runs "Anyone says I'm not a peace-lovin' Irishman I'll hit 'em in the nose!" Substitute whatever nationality or group you want...
But it seems to me that there is a modern sequel to that which runs along the lines of "I want peace and I'm gonna get it even if I have to bash your face in!"
It's very logical, I'm told.... -

Supporters of the war are peaceful.
Protesters of the war are violent.

What I would like to do is slap a protester and then insist that they cannot hit me back, we would have to talk it over. When things got calmer I'd slap them again and again insist on talking about it instead of fighting. Ultimately they would hit you back and then you would have won the discussion but also had great fun!
(I hope some of you more serious types understand I am only joking)
