I would like a few hours with Paul just so I can sort out what he is REALLY saying in his letters, especially around predestination, women's issues, the law, etc. But he seems to me that he would be a hard man to be buddy buddy with. My all time favorite Christian figure outside of the Bible was Augustine so I choose him. Reading his Confession's really changed a lot in my spiritual life. I also have high admiration for Martin Luther, even though, like Paul, we probably wouldn't be friends. Spurgeon is a growing favorite of mine. I am only three sermons in on his seven volumes but so far he is totally bringing the heat.

I'd like to ammend my post to add Fr. Mychal Judge.

I picked Apostle Paul from the list. But, of course, if I coud pick anyone, it would be Jesus Christ Himself. He beats all of the others hands down. Just to be able to see His face would be better than all of the blessings in a hundred lifetimes.

I would also choose Chuck Colson, James Dobson, D James Kennedy, R C Sproul, Chuck Stanley, John Mac Arthur, and Chuck Swindoll.

Peter, all the way. Imagine what a blast it would be to talk with someone that walked with Jesus (literally). Hearing first hand info about Jesus (that we can't find in the Bible) would be too cool ie, His personality, sense of humor, habbits or quirks (if there were any), talents or skills not mentined in Bible, etc

Voted for Paul

Voted for Paul - I think he is the only one that could answer most of the questions I have. Most of my questions to him would be for explanations of how he really intended some of the things he wrote.

All of the above, and a lot not mentioned Looks like I have to wait for eternity too
ok ok, if I must take the hour I'll meet Mr Hinn...and you can sell tickets to that "discussion" ;)
Pete -
I couldn't ever think of anyone and then it just came to me... I would like to spend an hour with myself at the age of 20 to warn myself about some things.

I chose Mary since I think she had the most amazing perspective on Jesus. Not only was He her Son, but she probably taught Him how to walk and how to be a part of a family. She was present during much of His ministry, was a witness to His death and His resurrection. She knew Jesus incarnate longer than any other person who has walked the earth. -
Jesus first above all these.
1. Ruth
2. Moses
3. Esther
4. David
5. John
6. The Angels Gabriel and Michael
7. My great great grandmother Ada

I haven't heard of over 50% of the names so I plumped for Mary, but now I come to think of it I wish I voted to Peter as he would be more likely to like a pint down the pub (just a guess).
