No, that particular kind of "fundamentalism" is what I criticize.
I am a dyed in the wool fundamentalist. I not only embrace the fundamentals of the faith, I am willing and have separated over them.
It obviously bears repeating, the fundamentalists used the American Standard Version. They believed it was the best translation available. Today, I primarily use the New American Standard when doing my reading and studying.
Hyles tried to invent a new kind of fundamentalism. It focused primarily on a false gospel, KJVO, and rules as the primary evidence of godliness.
Any IFB Pastors posting here?

IMO this thread is way off track. I hope that any future posts will return to the original intent.

Murph, I apologize. After I posted what I did, I realized the thread was about who on this board are IFB pastors.
I actually preach 6 times a month at an IFB church. It is not a hammond-clone though because I use the Scripture.
I am technically not the pastor as I have not been ordained. -
To get back to the point, I qualify. I am a bona fide IFB pastor who has ministered in Ireland North & South for the past 19 years and subject to the will of God plan on taking my third IFB church in the heart of England next summer.

What part and when?

What I am trying to say is that in your vehement distaste for the actions of the Hyles crowd, you are committing the an error in logic. The error you are committing is called "The Undistributed Middle." -
I am an IFB Pastor here in the world's greatest mission field, NYC! I'm "old-line" Fundamentalist...I do not follow the relatively new man made One Version Only theory in English...which, BTW makes God out to be a respector of persons. i.e. if He did give English speaking people an inerrant translation, then isn't He obliged to do so in every language? I hope we can restore Fundamentalism to it's roots...and get back to the Historic Fundamentalism of J. Frank Norris, John R. Rice, R. A Torrey, C.H. Spurgeon, etc

"Now, brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, "Do not go beyond what is written." Then you will not take pride in one man over against another."
Ephesians 4:15(NIV)
"15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ."
Romans 10:2(NIV)
"2For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge."
Groves1611,
I will pray for you my friend. The attitude you have is one of the main reasons for the making
of my website. I hope you will at least visit and read a little before you dismiss it out of hand. It is located at http://www.ifbreformation.org.
Have a nice day and may the Lord bless this New Year for you and your family.

Oh My, Oh My, Oh My.....
You dear sirs have missed read my post.
I am simply expressing my joy to know where I stand. I would suppose that you would do the same with knowing yourselves to be christians as well?! As you would also express your joy in your grandchildren and children...
Say what you will about this preacher, but I'm glad to know that there is one who I must give account to and his name is Jesus.
I'm glad I'm a christian. Been washed in the blood and I am changed. -
Groves
thank you for your clarification. I appreciate yet respectfully disagree with some of your stand. :D -
IFB am I! But the Bible says we are to be wise as serpents but gentle as doves. I think statements like, " most people on this site dont read there Bibles" can only turn them off to us. So how can you minister to someone you have offended.
LOVE CONQUERS ALL! By the way I didn't say compromise! I know what I believe and stand strong but with love and compassion to all those that are my brothers and sisters and most of all the those that do not know Christ.

I have always considered myself a IFB Pastor. After reading most of the posts here, I am not sure if I qualify. What do you qualify as an IFB Pastor?
