Thanks for the good resources! I bookmarked them under "government" and it will help with some sermon info as the elections draw near.

That is using it broadly!
In other words, they're only Baptist if you approve? -
If William Jefferson Clinton truly is a Baptist, then I hope his local church had the guts to discipline him according to 1. Cor. 5 and excommunicate him for his misconduct, lies, and dangerous policies. But Bill Clinton's wicked lifestyle and unchristian decisions have had a negative influence on the world. The world over people now believe that the US is decadent and corrupt and that American Christianity is condoning sin.
Right now the liberal media might tout that some statement by Jerry Falwell caused a riot in India, but what they don't say is that when Bro. Clinton was President Hindu groups began persecuting Christians in India because the Hindus thought Christians are pro-gay since Bible-toting Bro. Clinton was siding with he gay lobby.

The disciples were called Christians first, in Antioch!!! Acts 11:26 -
Ummmmmm.....what's your point? The article has to do with the issue of Mr. Clinton being a Baptist and how that relates to church discipline.

To g1933, The problem with written messages is you don't "hear" the tone of voice. I too would have intrepetted your post as "only MY kind of Baptists are Baptists". I agree with this list of Baptist presidents because hey are indivuals who united with, and were associted a local Baptist Church. We have 3 Baptist churches in our small toen. Each church is very different in its style and even somewhat in its policies, yet anyone who is a member of any of the three is a Baptist.
