I wish someone (other than me) would make a thread that starts from Genesis & goes through the whole blood sacrifice/Redeemer plan that God had from the beginning, through the geneology & everything, holiness of Jesus, Virgin Birth, Priesthood, etc., based upon a clear understanding of Scripture upon Scripture, precept upon precept, (to clear up all this confusion being presented on all these various threads...
so that those seeking the Truth (possibly lurking here) could understand it once & for all, beginning to end, from the Scriptures instead of all these opinions, diversions, unbeliefs, confusion, multitudes of endless threads, and chaos!
God is NOT the author of confusion.

It really isn't that confusing. Just don't read stuff from Post-it, Josh, BB, David, or any of their gang and you should be alright. I don't know how many threads I have started to interact with the libs and they are surprisingly no where to be found.

Wow. What a concise statement of a fear-based religious outlook!

Oh, No! Here we go! :(

I thought your idea was interesting and hope someone from your perspective will invest the time to do it. -

Preach says:
Um, no. It isn't a fear-based outlook. Once you come to the truth, you don't have to keep wondering if it is true. When I learned that 2+2=4, I never questioned it again. I don't do my taxes and wonder if the numbers really mean the same thing everytime. So it is with the virgin birth, deity of Christ, the issue of homosexuality, abortion, the resurrection and just about everything else.
Hardly fear. You cannot take it when I have called into question the belief system of the libs on this board and said their beliefs actually reveal unbelief in truth.
BB said:
Um... you've suggested that I'm a "lib" and I've been trying to interact with you but you don't often respond once I ask questions about your blanket condemnations of people.

I have started two current threads. Let us see how many libs make it over to them and interact. -
Personally, I love reading everyone’s comments on the board. I learn much from the rich differences of opinion. I consider it a fantastic blessing to LISTEN to what others have to say - including those who I profoundly disagree with. I often learn from their comments and the experiences they have gained from their own walk. We can all learn much from those who agree with us, as well as those who disagree with us! We don’t have to agree to LEARN.
Every comment offered on the board, even those that I know to be WRONG, serves to make me look harder and longer at my own doctrines. I constantly test and retest all of my doctrinal conclusions against any new Biblical evidence that I might have missed. I consider it a great blessing when I’m Biblically proven to be wrong on some doctrine that I have held. I’m certain this is why GOD commanded us to study the inerrant Bible (2 Tim. 2: 15), to exhort one another (1 Tim. 4: 13), and to learn sound doctrine (Titus 1: 9). We learn these things from one another – through the pages of GOD’s inerrant word of truth – the Bible!

I responded to the other thread several times yesterday and at this moment I've been waiting over 18 hours for a response from you. -

It seems that every mainstream denomination has their ships that are sailing without navigational aids. It does concern me though, that those who are not able to see the deception for what it is will get sucked into believing false doctrine.

Well, shoot, here I was thinking that I might need to tone down a bit and here I am coming across as a moderate compared to the exchange on this thread.

When I started here several months ago, it was those comments from the "right" that changed my old opinion that abortion was ok past the 6th month. I now hold it is only right until about the 5th-6th month. So I have changed some of my old beliefs since coming aboard. While some say I don't listen and only put forth my side, it is not true, I really examine each post when in debate. That is why I modify when proven wrong, or accept as possible when show it is a possiblity.
Thanks -
I thought your idea was interesting and hope someone from your perspective will invest the time to do it.</font>[/QUOTE]Thank you, BB. That is one of the nicest things you've ever said to me. :D
Perhaps because it is Saturday, the preachers are preparing sermons for tomorrow. I hope a fundamental Baptist will post so as to clear up confusion. (I don't have the time right now to look up all the Scriptures.) But it would be nice if this thread could stay on track. -
Abortian is not right from the moment a child is conceived! They are a growing, living person.
Personal story: When my mom was pregnant with me, she found out I would need reconstructive surgery because of some defects I was suposed to be born with. SUre enough, I was born with my forehead sinking in completely {bone was not formed} so I ended up haveing a plate put in to keep my forehead up. Thank the Lord I look normal now! But my point is, what if when my mom found out I was going to be born with a birth defect, that she was going to have an abortian? Life may be hard at times, but I'm thankfull that I'm alive, and I know God has a porpose for me.
Abortion is never right! NEVER! I recently found out after getting some test results that I would most likely have a very hard time having children, and I know I would give almost anything if I could have atleast one child if I marry. {before I had planned on atleast 5, but now I'd settle for one.}
You see, there are women everywhere who would give anything for a child, and there are those who find themselves pregnant with a child they didn't want and have an abortion.
Womans' choice? Hump, what about the innocent baby? what choice does it have?
Womans' choice ought to be not to get themselves pregnant if they don't want the responsibility of a child.
Sorry that I got off topic, but this is a topic very dear to my heart, and i felt I needed to say something.

SheEagle911... I would be only happy to do what you suggested but unfortunately the thread would just get hijacked and wander into theological never never land!... No one seems to stay on topic!... Until then we will get bits a pieces of bits and pieces!... Brother Glen

Thank you, Brother Glen. But I feel like I'm la-la land right now....all of a sudden the topic is abortion! LOL! I can't believe this is happening, so I guess I'll ROFL! :D How did this happen?

Hi post-it. Thank you for the comments. I’m glad that you had the courage to change a position when you discovered some new evidence. Truth always begins with honesty. Now if we can just get you to go back about another 5-6 months on the abortion issue (i.e conception) it would be a great day indeed
