QUESTION OF YOUR LIFETIME?
If God permitted you to choose which natural disaster you would prefer to face in life, which would it be, and WHY?
Here's a list to get you thinking:
TORNADO
HURRICANE
FLOODS
TSUNAMIS
SWARMS OF LOCUSTS
DROUGHTS
METEOR SHOWERS ON A REGULAR BASIS
PLAQUES
EARTHQUAKES
ROCK SLIDES
AVALANCHES
COLD SNAPS
HEAT WAVES
I am sure many of you can think of a few disasters that I have overlooked, so, if it is honestly something that threatens civilization in large numbers, add it in your comment section.

I think I would prefer God choose and I not know ahead of time.

Cold snap. Having lived in northern Maine and seen temperatures below -30 in most winters and -40 in some, I'd just keep feeding the woodstove. Of course, if "cold snap" means Antarctica's worst (-100 with strong wind), that would be different. And I'd add "blizzard" to the list. The Northeast's deadliest weather event I find in the records is the 1938 hurricane. #2 is probably the blizzard of March 1888.

Earthquake. Unlike a lot of the other calamities, you don't know it's coming, it's over in a matter of minutes, and if you are outside or on open ground your chances of survival are pretty good.

Cold. It kills the bugs.

Cold. One can always dress against it.
