Barnybas! Nice to see your face up there again.
No pizza for dinner here, although it came close. It was out of the freezer and on the counter for about 15 minutes, then I changed my mind.
Wow it's late.
Goodnight all!
And good morning to the rest. :wavey:

Good morning all,
The tornadoes missed us last night but we're going to get the strong storms today.
Good day to stay inside and clean house. Yuck! Curling up with a good book sounds better, but I won't have the luxury of peace and quiet to do that.
I am fixing sausage patties, boiled omelets, hashbrowns, toast and OJ for breakfast. Help yourself, they're being kept warm on the sideboard.
HAGD!

Morning Everybody,
Good to see you posting again Barnabas. I don't know about eating like a King or a Queen, I just fix what I think my friends might like...and so far they have.
Actually I'm just the Joker in this Royal court.
My #3 grandchild has started Flag Football and they have a game this morning, so guess where Papas gonna be?
Thanks for the breakfast Sue, it was great.
Time to go sit in the rain. -
Mmmmm! Hashbrowns! I love 'em. Thanks Sue. If you hadn't of cooked, I'd be eating cold pizza for breakfast.
Barnabas, I really hope that Hungarian headcheese is made differently than what used to be made around here. Otherwise, eeeewwwww! Headcheese is nasty! Rather eat cold pizza!
Good Morning Everyone!

My daughter Krista and Son-in-law Anthony - welcomed their first child into the world on Sept 22 at 1:33 AM.
His name Azariah Joel and he weighed 7lbs 13.8 ozs - he was 20" long.
Here's your job - where did they get the name Azariah from and what does it mean?
Dan Todd -
Azariah? Wasn't that a smurf? :D ;)
Congrats on the new grandbaby! Is this your first?
It's time this keeper put the menagerie in their cag--I mean beds, and head that way myself. Sunday's are almost like school days, gotta get up and get out cause church starts at 9 and I have at least one extra to pick up on the way.
Hmm, I hear thunder. It's going to be one of those rainy, rainy nights. Not supposed to storm, really, but the line that is moving through is sooo slow that now they are putting out flood warnings because of all the rain thats falling. I love the sound of rain on my metal roof. Good thing I live on a hill though! -
Azariah
Azariah is number seven:
In order:
Abigail - eight in November
Daniel - six
Libby (Elizabeth) - five
Micah - four
Ryan Jr. - Three
Andrew - two -
Ann -
Azariah was a king of either Judah or Israel, I think. Will have to research to confirm which, and find the meaning.
Congratulations on the new grandchild, Dan! -
Hello grandpa!,,,Congrats to daughter.
Azariah in Hebrew means Jehovah has helped. It was the official throne name for King Uzziah (2 KIngs 14:21, I think). It was also Daniel's companion Abednego (Dan 1:7).
Back into Hebrew lessons, mate.
Cheers,
Jim -
Good morning all!:wavey:
Hey Sue, did you get any of that nasty weather at your place? I heard your state was supposed to get whomped! Here, we just need the rain, desparately! But, it is finally nice and cool.
Ok Preacher. Let's see hhhmmmmm?.....
BH=Be Happy?
BH=Bar Hopper?
BH=Ben Hur?
BH=Ben haven?(as opposed to misbehaven, which would be his wife's name)
BH=Born Hairy?
A mystery to be solved! -
Congratulations on #7 PaPa Dan! Did you celebrate with a sugar-free milkshake?
Abednego is the new name given to Azariah. PTL! He came through the fire unscathed. Good name!
Good morning all,
Oasis: the southern part of our state got hit, but all we got (in the central part) was wind and rain.
It is cool here this morning - low 40's. I believe the high is around 65º.
I slept in some this morning so I need to get 'on the stick'.
HAGD!

Azariah
Jim is correct - the name came from Daniel's companion.
I was awaken in my motel room somewhere around 3:00 AM - and told of the new arrival.
I've been working long days the past couple of months - and I stay at the job site.
So - I didn't celebrate with a sugar-free milkshake - if anything - I might have had a couple of swallows of sugar free lemonade!
I'm guessing I'll probably never catch up to Sue's sixteen grandchildren - but Jan and I rejoice in the ones God has sent our way! -
Azariah
I tried to edit my last post - but haven't got the hang of this "new" system yet.
Sue also got the right Azariah.
Pop Pop - singing off - getting ready for church!
PS - Abigail - the first grandchild - came up with Pop Pop! -

Good Morning Everyone!
Seems like the first grandchild always gets the honor of "naming" the grandparents. :) Do you get to visit with the baby after church?
Annsni, you must be young to have the energy to want more babies! I'm patiently waiting for my babies to get old enough to give me grandbabies, but I don't have the energy for another round of diaper changes and terrible twos.
The weather moved in last night and with it moved in the migraines. :( Got up this morning to both Cass and Chris in pain. Gave them medicine, sent them back to bed and decided if I was the only one going to church I'd just stay home, so I went back to bed myself. (yes, I had a bad attitude this morning) Evidently the extra sleep was good for me, cause at least I'm in a better mood. Chris isn't quite as bad off as he was this morning and is talking and moving. Cass is up, but hasn't decided just how she feels yet. Thank the Lord, their neurology appointments are tomorrow, so maybe we can change medications or dosages and get these things under control.
Gonna drink more coffee and then go find something productive to do. See ya! -
Our pastor's mother is not expected to live but a few more days, so he and his wife have been with her, in SC, for over a week. Our Asst. Pastor has been bringing the sermons.
He is also the Asst. District Attorney. I think he missed his calling. He sure can preach. And he walks the walk. Rare in a politician these days...
I put a pork roast in the crock pot, for dinner this morning, and I made baked potatoes, carrots, asparagus, cottage cheese, and sliced pears for dessert, when we got home from church.
I am ready for a nap now.
Have a relaxing afternoon!

Well, today is going to be a quiet day. We went to church today (DH led worship - it was awesome!!) and while we were hanging around afterwards talking to an old friend who's back in town for a few months before going to Malaysia to be a missionary, Joanna (3) started complaining she was cold. The a/c was not turned up high - as a matter of fact, I was sweating and had a sleeveless top and capris on - and it took me a few minutes to realize she was sick. Came home and she's at 102.9 so far, poor baby!! So now she's on the couch watching Cinderella, her favorite video and having some toast. I hate when they're sick! We were supposed to do a race today (on the sailboat) but with her sick and the high winds (up to 25 knots), we decided to skip it since we were just doing it with the family and we really need our experienced crew for a day like today. So instead, we're sitting home, I'm on the computer, DH is sleeping, DS5 is having lunch, and my teens are MIA (up in their room). I'm making turkey pot pie tonight with the leftovers from our dinner that we had with our cell group last night (we had turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, ziti and salad). An easy meal for a lazy day.

Poor Joanna! I'm with you. I'd rather be sick myself than have one of the kids sick.
I think we dodged the bullet here, migraine wise. Both kids are feeling better. Cassie is waaayy better, Chris only so so. It's nice they didn't turn into full blown attacks though. First time in a long while the migraines haven't turned severe.
Yawn, yawn....I don't need a nap, I don't need a nap! Trying to convince myself that if I go to sleep now I won't sleep tonight. But I'm sleepy. I did find something productive to do. I watched the Braves lose a 5 point lead over the Colorado Rockies. I also cut out the pattern for the jacket and skirt Cass wants made and altered a dress for her. Heaven forbid it makes her look even a tad larger than she really is.
Now I'm on to cooking supper. Only having grilled chicken and pasta salad at this house. Then I'm going to sew up the blouse and capris I have cut out for myself. Maybe. Depends on if I can stay awake that long.
See ya'll later.
