I was going to try and stay up to hear about Diane's visit with Gib, but since I don't feel well, I am going to bed.

I will just have to catch up on all the news tomorrow.

We watched American Idol tonight - when it was over and we wanted to vote - daughter Kari called and talked to us nearly an hour.

But I finally went in and got my cell phone and voted once before we got off the land line with Kari.

We voted for #1, #4, #6, and #8 - and I bet you wouldn't have guessed that we did it MULTIPLE times!

Dan - still talking in upstate New York non-accented English - or is it American?

Almost 8:30 and have a video to watch (while taping NYPD at 9) whenever the bride comes home.

Really tough day for her. Fellow came in last week in b-a-d shape. Had tried everything but was dying. She did not try to do anything but comfort and love and man. He is younger than we are; I hate cancer.

He gave a sweet testimony to her, even though his kin thought him unsaved!

He died this morning. Then she had to work with a 9-mnonth old baby who is having great difficulties and this afternoon, missionaries from Albania - who just flew in to the US a couple days ago - drove from Phoenix 19 hours to see her.

She spent extra time with them as it was so important. And so another 12+ hour day. Wow.

But what a blessed ministry. I only have a little part but feel like "the wind beneath her wings" some days . . as she did for 30 years as a Pastor's wife.

Good morning, my wife and I went over to our friend's home last evening. We had such a great time taking about the Bible. Our visit turned into a wonderful fellowship. We are going to meet at least once a week from now on. I am greatful for being a part of the Baptist Board. Being here has changed my life in many ways. I thank all the members for letting me be a part of something so special. God Bless every member on this board. Good night.
