I'm very pleased with this result.
Cruz shows that he has a good ground game, which he has been working on in all the states.
Trump will get on the talk shows tomorrow and insult the Iowa voters which of course the press will eat up.
You will have to eat some humble pie in the near future. If I am wrong I will acknowedge that "ITL deserves a great deal of credit. He called it exactly the way it transpired."
I would like to amend my prediction. I should not have said New Hampshire and Nevada would be the only states he will win. Trump will not win many states, certainly few that matter. He will likely drop out after Super Tuesday (March 1st) or possibly a week after Super Tuesday. In addition to New Hampshire he could also win:
Nevada
Alaska
Colorado
Massachusetts
Vermont
If he stays in past Super Tuesday he might win:
Maine
Puerto Rico
Hawaii
But these states are like leftover crumbs in the pecking order of the primaries. Only Alaska is a true red state.
Not sure what last night will mean - if anything - to NH voters.
However, spoke to a friend in NH today. Said he was leaning toward Bush initially - now planning to vote for Rubio.
To me, his speech was the best - by far.
Cruz rambled on for 30+ minutes and Donald now wants to buy a farm in Iowa.
At least he didn't call the Iowans stupid again.
Hillary & Bernie seemed angry in their speeches (but then again, Bernie always seems angry).
BTW, did you see former president Clinton behind the Hillary.
Hard to believe that he has aged so much.
And he's only one year older than Hillary.
Doesn't he? I thought it was just me or maybe that's just the way he talks. But he never sounds just normal. There's just something acerbic and grating about his voice.
Presidents usually seem to start aging normally again once they leave office. He looks to be the exception.
Hard to believe that Chelsea is 35 now. Where has the time gone?
