One of the things that disturbs me the most about Reformed or Calvinist theology is the idea that God created a multitude of souls for no other purpose than eternal torture. It may be that I'm misunderstanding something here but that is the conclusion I've come to.
If this is wrong, please enlighten me.

What if this is not a Calvinist idea but it is exactly what God did?
Would it still bother you?
If so, do you think God should care if it bothers you?

Yes, if that actually were how God operates it would certainly bother me.
The point is that my argument is not with such an imaginary Calvinistic god, but the people that paint such a picture of Him.

Since I am a Calvinist, and you seem to be saying here the the Calvinistic god is imaginary, are you saying that I am worshipping idols and lost?
