Christine O'Donnell,Delaware's Republican candidate for US Senator has apparently admitted to being curious about witchcraft.
Let's pretend for a minute that all of us live in Delaware, and if she is unable to provide a satisfactory explanation as to which direction her heart and spirit are pointed today, would you, as a Christian vote for her to be your Senator.?!?!?

"They are -- they are doing that here in the United States. American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains. So they're already into this experiment." Christine O'Donnell in 2007 on The O'Reilly Factor
The above sort of thing would prevent me from voting for her before I even started delving into the more serious issue of her being involved in witchcraft. -
First off I think she has answered the accusations at least in part. She says it was done while she was in high school and there is absolutely no reason to believe that she is or ever was a witch. As far as I know she is Catholic. So it would be improper to say she is involved in witchcraft. As to voting for her I would not base it on this one thing of her past. That might change as more information comes to light about her political beliefs. I will say that I would vote for her before I would Sarah Palin who seems very suspect in her claimed faith. She claims to be Pentecostal and follows the Lord but her mouth on occasions says other wise.
-
We all have skeletons in our past, don't we? What if we were to have a news agency find out about some of the things we did when we were younger? YIKES!!
But as for the comment that she's Catholic so she's not involved in witchcraft haven't been around that segment of Catholics that ARE involved in witchcraft - mostly people from South and Central America. It's there in a big way. -
Anyone who has willingly read their horoscope has "dabbled" in witchcraft.
Although I can't imagine someone doing it by accident.
Then there are the "fortune" cookies named after Fortuna, the Roman god of good luck.

"dabbled in witchcraft"? come on, give me a break. Who hasn't done things when we were in our teens and twenties that we regret? Whoever is without fault, throw the first stone.
She is obviously a Christian who is not ashamed of her faith. If it were possible, I'd vote for her in a second. -
HankD -
Are you voting for a senator or a pastor?
There are some Christians I wouldn't want in office, any office. Someone mentioned Sarah Palin!
Cheers,

Since the poll's question itself made no mention of any person in particular, I'm not sure whether or not I could make a specific, non-reversible opinion about this.
Most all of us probably did or said things before we received Christ as our Savior that we aren't especially proud of. -

The easiest lie any politician will tell you is the level of their spirituality.
Why is the American church so taken in with these fools and despots? -
Matt. 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
While we may take issue with the political arena let us not discard the word of God less we end up as the one we condemn. -
Here is an idea, lets let the state of Delaware decide. How many here are registered to vote there? National influence on local elections is out of control.
-
Calling her a witch? Really? Honestly? Come on.
-
BUT
supposed that same situation came up in your State or Commonwealth.
Remember the Question in the OP asked in part
"Let's pretend for a minute that all of us live in Delaware"
* bold =my emphasis
In addition - all kinds of things come up.
Supposed a candidate was asked if he ever inhaled while in college? Of course, that would never happen.... -
Thank God I'm not judged for my past. Really, it's a smear that has no real merit. If anyone would hold this against her he or she doesn't need to be voting. Honestly, some people are too stupid to be allowed to vote.

Rove Rage???
I chalk up his rantas and raves a another act of "Rove rage!" -
I tried to read Rove's book. But I gave it up about 1/3 of the way through when I realized he was just another self-centered, opportunistic, Ruling Class politician. Most autobiographies make you like the person you are reading about more. His autobiography made me dislike him.
-
This will help us determine who to vote for.

I'm surpised anyone listens to Rove.
