When in doubt go for the one with the bigger battery, I always say.

When both people on a phone conversation are using HD calling it is kind of spooky--the voices are crystal clear with no background noise. Sounds like the person is in the room with you.

Yep. Cell phone technology is a hobby for me.

I use an LG Stylo 3; roughly equivalent to a Galaxy Note 3 or 4. Bought the phone outright for about $180. I use StraightTalk; $49/month gets me 12gb of data, with speeds throttled somewhat after that (although I've never used the full data limit), but no overage charge like with AT&T.

Just get a new battery put in it. I still use LG because they have user replaceable batteries.

When the iPhone X comes out you can upgrade to that.

Yea, the active looks great too. I'm not really into phones and tablets (as long as they do what I want them to do I'm happy). So until the note 8 came along I really haven't been impressed by a phone. Insofar as a good purchase....time will tell.

I bring an old-fashioned Bible that in itself is old-fashioned. KJV (1769 Oxford version) Old Scofield Reference Bible.

Why? I have had a Bible of this type since my baptism in 1958. I know where verses are - I don't always remember the zip code of the verse so can look in the book it belongs in and KNOW that the verse is in left page, right column, etc. Had one thru high school and college/seminary. Then new one for ordination. And 3 more since then, as they only last 10 years or so.

I like my paper Bible because if I want to add a notation somewhere I can do it. Nothing like having a personal bible!

With all these tech devices, gadget's and do dads, how do you all even enjoy a sermon?... Just my KJV bible, me, the preacher and his message... When did church become so complicated?... Call me old fashioned!... I like it that way!... Brother Glen:)

You make a good point. I remember keeping notes on the old Palm Os and Windows Ce bibles back in the day. But all those notes are gone as technology has advanced.

I can't tell you how many adapters I've bought for my son's iphone.....well, yes I can...3....I bought 3 of them and thankfully they are inexpensive. The worst thing, other than the limitations of the iOS, is no expandable storage and that stupid headphone adapter. He can't charge his phone while listening to music, unless he uses bluetooth....which he doesn't because we don't want the aliens reading his thoughts. :Alien

But my phone is water resistant. I can get baptized with my electronic bible and still use it the next day. Try that with your paper one. :Tongue

Apple just discovered wireless charging--something Android has had for at least four years now.

And if I don't have Apple ear pods and want to use standard 3.5mm headphones?

Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter

And if I want to charge my phone while listening to headphones?
